While Darigan Neopets may be well known for their fierce nature this does not mean that every Darigan is always looking for a fight. Just like you may encounter a Baby Neopet who will bite ya head off if given a chance, there are plenty of Darigan Neopets who would gladly take a hug when offered or cuddle up with someone they cherish. Heck, there are even Darigan Neopets who are always ready for a fight, but also love to be pampered! The amazing thing about Neopets is that each one is unique in their very own way, and we are so lucky to be given the chance to learn their distinctive personalities! Hello! Several years ago I wrote an article for the Neopian times about how Neopets really helps me out as an autistic person but it was rejected as it discussed a real life topic. I didn’t realise at the time how bad that was! To be silenced for daring to discuss something I was born with and cannot get away from. Ive been on a long hiatus and just came back to the game. Is it okay to discuss being autistic yet? I would love to know what the stance is now. ~dissiechrissie
Hello! First off I would like to sincerely apologise that this happened to you. While I can’t speak for the decisions of past teams or editors, that shouldn’t have happened to you then and I can promise it won’t happen to you now. As long as a story fits all parameters of a submission and breaks no rules we will happily take any stories with mention of autism and neurodiversity in general! (Just so the current editors don’t yell at me later for making blanket promises (/lh) I want to clarify this is not a promise that you or anyone who enters a submission with these topics will get published, just that we would never turn away a story for those reasons. /gen) Being able to see yourself in stories (especially your own stories!) is so important! And while this may not be able to make up for past pain, I hope you and others can take some joy in some of the items we’ve been working hard to create for Neopets lately. Such as the Autism and Neurodivergent Infinity Shirts that came out twoish years ago in our Accessibility Line for Wearables and Items. We are also working to continuously expand that line with more items every year! I suppose all of this is to say that Neopets's stance has certainly changed, and we will continue working to make Neopets a place where everyone can feel welcome and safe! /gen ~~ Stone

Per Day 17 of the most recent Advent Calendar, did Pan stay with Honcho in Altador, or did he go back? When is that comic set relative to where we are in Tales of Dacardia? Honcho surely must've wondered at his commitment to Pan as a husband, considering Jazan and Nabile decided to come to the Council together but not him and Pan. ~kaljinyu
Oh, yay, we get to talk about Dacardia! These are all excellent questions. First off: Pan was out of Dacardia when the Great Dacardian Storm happened, on one of his archaeological digs. After Pan heard about the storm, he headed back to Dacardia but unfortunately got lost at sea for a while – it was the Town Planner, Lania, and Ariel fixing Lookout Lighthouse that helped him find his way back! While Pan was lost at sea, Honcho was summoned to Altador. Honcho and Ariel had been sending letters back and forth, so Ariel probably told Pan where he was. Of course since he missed his husband, Pan went to go visit him for the holidays! So Pan ended up spending part of the holidays with Honcho in Altador. He had to come back to Dacardia to help with the restoration while Honcho remains in Altador, though. Hopefully they’ll be reunited at home soon! Thanks for asking! I want to thank TNT for making Holiday Lasagna. For those who don't know, I asked in Issue 1021 if we could have some lasagna for Christmas. Hello, just wanted to share my appreciation for the Christmas Prismatic Styles! I think the designs chosen are quite charming and refreshing spins on their classic Christmas looks. My personal fave is the different shades of cyan and teal as accent colors on the white Tinsel pets. This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for when I heard about Prismatic Pet Styles, and I'm excited to see more like it! ~loosemorels
