Neopian Quiz - Hidden Words

by daughters_ofthe_moon

--------

I'm back with yet another quiz given its very own Neopian slant. If you've given the quiz a quick glance you could be forgiven for scratching your head and thinking, Neopian? Not from what I can see! Therein, though, lies the rub. This time you are looking for a Neopian word or name hidden within an ordinary phrase. The only hint you have is the land which is linked to this Neopian character or word. I will tell you that I found all these words from browsing around the lands so none of the words are too hard, except maybe one which is a bit sneaky.

Still don't understand? Well, here an example just to make it clearer –

Did you wear a cravat around your neck? (one word)

If you look closely you will notice that if you take the words 'cravat around' and eliminate the space, in the middle is the word avatar

cravat around

As always if you need help, get stuck or just brazenly want to cheat, all the answers will be at the bottom of the quiz.

Punctuation in the phrase should be ignored when looking for words, and the word can be split across many different words, not just two. So here you go with the first land -

Terror Mountain

We will pass no wage rises - (one word)

I spent a grand on nylon! - (one word)

The star lay broken on the floor - (one word)

I hurt my arm in the garden - (one word)

milady frost bit eyes are not a good thing - (two words)

Okay, so one land down. How is it going so far? Are you finding it easy or already twitching with the need to scroll down and peek?

Tyrannia

Are apples ionic? - (one word)

Eww, you ate kelp for lunch? - (one word)

This wacky rug gives you special powers - (one word)

Maybe asteroids won't hit us - (one word)

Lift up a chair for me – (one word)

Two lands down, just a few more to go! Keep your eye on the prize (that's unfortunately for you only a figure of speech since we're not allowed to give prizes – sorry!). The satisfaction of finding the answer will have to be enough to keep you going.

The Lost Desert

The echo raked the cavern walls – (one word)

The baby in the pram settled comfortably – (one word)

Who's iris is blue? – (one word)

A short round this time as I had an awful job trying to fit these names into sentences and phrases! Did you manage to get any of them right? Keep going ...

Meridell

Stand back, okay. Lava may flow from this volcano – (one word)

Does Karl live near you? – (one word)

Are you ill? Use new Crater Fruit Elixir for your cure today! – (one word)

He sits in silence all day long – (one word)

What is in this tin, Kyruggi? – (one word)

A longer round this time and hopefully not too tricky – apart from the last one which I admit was a bit mean! Don't give up, though; you have more to go. We're flying off to the clouds this time...

Faerieland

Defy or attempt to obey, that is the question... - (one word)

It was a baby ram I raised by myself – (one word)

There was a citadel in a place called Darigan – (one word)

A short round to finish with and you've done it. You've reached the end so well done! Read on to check your answers and score.

Answers

Faerieland

Defy or attempt to obey, that is the question... - (Fyora)

It was a baby ram I raised by myself – (Mira)

There was a citadel in a place called Darigan – (Delina)

Okay, so here's the final scoreboard.... How many did you get correct? Do you have the eye or are you idle? Count how many you managed to get right (without cheating and sneaking a peek) and find out where you rank...

1-5 You're a Neopian Nobody, you don't know enough about Neopia to tell Meridell from Moltara!

6-10 You're a Neopian Nipper, you know a little and what you know is good, but if you want to play in the big leagues, you've got to pull out all the stops and start studying those famous Neopians!

11-15 You're a Neopian Nice Guy, you know just enough to do what you want and you're not interested in being a know it all and mocking the others on the boards!

16-20 You're a Neopian Ninja, congratulations; it seems you can do it all and there's nothing more for me to teach you!

21 - You're Neopian Nirvana, you have the pleasure of knowing your stuff and proving it!

I hope you enjoyed this quiz! Check out my other quiz articles for more fun and frustration!
