Foolproof Ways to get Items from the Money Tree by thorndie
--------
Millions of Neopians visit the Money Tree every day in hopes of taking home a free item, or maybe a small bag of neopoints. But because of the large crowds of people hovering around the tree, it can become quite difficult for one to snatch a worthwhile reward. But fear not! This nifty little guide will give you some great pointers on how to nab those precious Old Rotten Left Boots before others can lay their filthy little paws on them! Yay.Of course, before you can attempt to take items from the Money Tree, you must be prepared! Make sure you have the following:
- Running Shoes
- Lemonade
- Lemonade Stand
- Bush Costume
- Ladder
I see that confused look on your face. But don't worry, my lovely item-nabbers-in-training! In the following sections, I will be sure to clearly and effectively explain how to use each and every item to your advantage. Here are some tips and strategies you can employ to increase your chances of grabbing a free item. 1. Arrive early.
Arriving early is very important. If you are late, other people will take all the items, leaving you nothing. This is quite an obvious thing to do, really. If you have a hard time waking up in the morning, I suggest getting an alarm clock. Now, after you have arisen from slumber, make your way to the Money Tree. You do know where the Money Tree is, right? What? You don't? *sigh* Do I really have to explain everything? The Money Tree is right smack dab in the middle of Neopia Central. You will easily recognize it because looks like a large tree with bags of neopoints scattered around its base. 2. Rush to get an item.
This step is very important. . You will not get anything if you drag your feet and slowly trudge towards those items. You must try to get an item as quickly as possible. Otherwise, you will not get any items. Really, this is also quite obvious. "What if I am not naturally swift and limber as a Kyrii?" you ask. I suggest doing light cardio workouts four to six times a week to build up your endurance. Or, you could hire a Kyrii to do the dirty work for you. Or even better, you could take a sip of those cool morphing potions to transform into a nimble Kyrii yourself! All right then, let's move on to the next tip.
3. Push other people out of the way.
Personally, I find it much easier to reach your goals if you push the other people out of the way. By using this strategy, you will decrease the chances of other people getting the item, and increase your chances of getting the item! How wonderful! ... hm? What's that? It's not polite to shove people willy-nilly, you say? That's why you should only use "friendly" shoves! Put a warming smile on your face so everyone will know that you are pushing them with the best intentions! 4. Have a lemonade sale.
This is where the lemonade and lemonade stand comes in, you see? Didn't I tell you that I would explain everything in due time? Okay, now imagine this: it is a hot summer day. The sun is sweltering down and the heat is comparable to average temperatures of the Lost Desert. What does everyone crave the most on sizzling days like these? Ice-cold lemonade of course! Set up a lemonade stand close to the Money Tree, and all nearby Neopians will leave the Money Tree and come over to buy lemonade. What a perfect opportunity to visit the Money Tree while everyone else is distracted! 5. Disguise as a bush and sneak up to the tree.
Now, while everyone is distracted by the lemonade stand, put on your bush costume and disguise yourself as an innocent bush, preferably the leafy kind. This will help you to sneakily sneak up to the Money Tree and grab an item because nobody will recognize you. You will be camouflaged among all the other leafy bushes. Remember, this is probably the most important part of the item-nabbing process. Don't even try getting stuff from the Money Tree without a bush costume; you're just going to fail! By following this step-by-step guide, you will soon be swimming in piles of valuable items frequently donated to the money tree, such as Waterlogged Books! Yes, just imagine yourself, surrounded by mounds of Waterlogged Books! Ah, what a life. You will have so many Waterlogged Books that your safety deposit box might explode! FAQ
Even though (in my opinion) my guide was perfectly clear, some people had questions after reading it. So now, I will answer some of the most popular questions I have received from my fellow Neopians. Q: I did arrive early, yet there are no items. A: You did not arrive early enough. You should be the first one at the tree.
Q: Other people are calling me mean for pushing them out of the way. A: What? That's absurd! You must not be doing it right. Q: I keep getting insulted for pushing. A: Sigh. Did you not follow my instructions? I said, "friendly" push. If you shove others in a friendly way, they will not mind at all! You may even make some new friends! Q: I don't have any lemonade to sell. A: You need to prepare lemonade beforehand! Duh! But don't worry, the time and effort it takes to make lemonade will surely be repaid through awesome Money Tree donations that you have grabbed. Q: Nobody is buying my lemonade.
A: Well, see, you don't need anyone to buy your lemonade! It's just a distraction so you can get free items!
Q: Nobody is coming to my lemonade stand. A: Your lemonade stand should be near the Money Tree. Do not sell lemonade in Faerieland. That will not help your mission at all, although the thirsty faeries will be happy. Q: There are no bushes around the tree. A: To disguise as a bush, you must have a bush costume, not a real bush. Q: Everybody is just taking my lemonade for free while I am disguised as a bush.
A: Excuse me? Look at the title of this article. What does it say? ...Yeah, that's right. It's called "Fool-Proof Ways To Get Items From the Money Tree". Not "How to Make a Profit Selling Lemonade"!
Q: My safety deposit box keeps exploding. A: Ooh, man. That's unfortunate. I feel for you. Q: I recommended your article to my friends, and now everyone is copying me and using the same strategy. What should I do? A: Competition? That's okay. It's fine if they copy you. Just go and get the items. Q: Other people also want items. A: Don't let them have any, of course! Q: There is "ladder" on your materials list but you never specified what to use it for. What do you need a ladder for? A: You will need a ladder to play with, so you won't be bored.
Well, there's the end of my guide! I hope you learned a lot. I bet you learned a lot, didn't you? I thought so. Now, what are you waiting for? Head over to the Money Tree and start picking up donations!
