A Guild Members Birthday Celebration

      “I’m sure Kara would like a whole bunch of pictures of you, Chaos. You can frame them and put them all over her room and especially the walls. Oooooh, and you can borrow my camera, just make sure to use all 10 rolls of film, and don’t forget to develop them of course!” exclaimed Shelly. The Council laughed heartily.

      “OOOhhhh… I know what Kara would like! She would love it if you sang Happy Birthday to her and did a little dance to it!” Suze added. The council was having so much fun giving Chaos ideas.

     “Make her pancakes and waffles shaped like you! She loves them!” Blythe laughed uncontrollably.

     “ Kara would love sludge sculptures of yourself. Make a lot of them and put one in each box. Oooh and don’t forget to decorate her room with the sludge sculptures too! Put one in the bathroom, one in the shower, and one on her pillow!” Neo said with excitement.

      “Now are you guys sure Kara would like all these things?” Chaos questioned.

      “Of course she would, she just loves you so much!”

      “Thanks, guys!” I’ll get right to it! Ohhhh, and Blythe can Kara please stay at your place so I can get her room decorated? I think she needs a vacation from the Funny Farm anyways.” Chaos asked.

     “No way! Kara is Miss Fruit Loops, the Loopy Loop girl of all. There’s no telling what she would do at my house! I’m sure Shelly won’t mind having her at all!” Blythe exclaimed.

     “Ohhhhhhhhh no no no Kara’s not staying at my house! Noooooooooo way!” Shelly squealed ;)

      … and so it went on, no one wanted to take Kara in.

      “Okay Stop it Stop it, guys!” Chaos interrupted, “I don’t have time for this! I have many preparations to do!… Rock, paper, scissors all of you, on 3… loser takes Kara home! 1…. 2…. 3!!!!….

      …and so they all threw down their selection. “

     "Blythe you lose! “You get to take Miss Loopy Loop… er I mean Kara home. Bring her back to the Funny Farm at 8 am. on Monday. Meet me in the kitchen. I’ll have breakfast waiting for her. Now that that’s taken care of, time to get started on my buddy’s birthday gift. Bye Council! Thanks for your help! Chaos said excitedly.

      “ No problem!” said the Council in unison and they laughed hysterically as Chaos left the room.

      “Boy, this is going to be a birthday Kara never forgets!” Suze exclaimed.

     “

     Yeah well at least Kara isn’t staying with you for two nights! Where is Miss Fruit Loops anyways?” asked Blythe. “Oooooooh I know where she is! Can’t you hear that awful singing? She’s singing in her room again. I think I heard Kara tell Julie that she’s trying out for a singing competition next year. Those poor judges, poor Neopia!!” Shelly laughed.

     “Well I’ll see you guys later. I’m off to tell Kara she’s staying with me for two nights… a weekend with Loopy Loop… ohhh help me!” Blythe exclaimed.

      “Bye Blythe! Oh and don’t forget to wear earplugs to bed. Kara snores really loud! Well, at least that’s what Julie tells me…. And Julie still wants to be roomies with Kara.” Neo added, holding back a laugh that soon erupted into huge laughter. Blythe turned and gave them all a scowl and mumbled under her breath, “two nights with Fruit Loop…” The Council parted and laughed some more.

     Blythe made her way to Kara’s room, cringing with each step she made as the sound of Kara’s horrid voice got louder and louder. She arrived at her door and knocked. “

     “Blythe??!!!! Kara exclaimed excitedly! “You’ve come to visit me! I knew you would someday, I just knew it! Hmmmm has the fifth Friday of the month finally come?… Well, wait now… it’s Saturday… Anyways, Good to see you! I was just practising my singing. My name’s going to be up in lights someday you know! You are now looking at the next Neopian Idol!

      “You’re loopier than I thought , Kara.. but hey why don’t you spend the next two nights at my house. It will be fun!” Blythe tried her best to say with a straight face.

      “I’d love to!” exclaimed Kara.

     “

     Okay then I’ll wait for you outside by the flowers. I want to see the garden.”

     “Oh, I’m already packed! Let me just grab my bag from the closet.” … See I just knew that someday you’d ask me to visit you. Today’s the day!” Kara smiled. So off they went to look at the garden… then Blythe put Kara’s bag in the trunk of the car and off they went to Blythe’s house.

     In the car, Kara sang, (horribly)

     “99 chocolate bars to eat, 99 chocolate bars!!!! … unwrap 1, put it in your mouth! Chew then swallow and repeat with…. 98 chocolate bars to eat…” Kara sang.

      “Shhhhhhhhhhh loopy loop!” Blythe hissed. Kara made a zipping her mouth shut motion and stayed quiet for a whole minute, then asked, “Are we there yet? “Are we there yet?”

     “Nooooooo!… Here, listen to some music!” said Blythe. Classical music filled the car. “Oh wait, I like this much better! Kara exclaimed while switching it to a livelier station . Blythe tried to tolerate the music as much as she could but when Kara started throwing her hands up saying “Raise the Roooooooooof!”

     That was the last straw. She switched it back to the classical station. The music seemed to soothe Kara. It didn’t take long for her to fall asleep.

     “Man Miss Loppy Loop does snore loud!” Blythe mumbled and tried shaking her leg a bit so she would stop snoring. It didn’t seem to work. So Blythe drove on. They finally got to her house and she woke up the sleeping Kara. “We are here Kara, wake up!” Kara woke up and got her bag from the trunk.

     “

     Oooooooooh what a nice house you have here Blythe!” exclaimed Kara..

      “Thanks”… Blythe replied. For two nights Kara tormented Blythe. Kara thought they were having the most splendid time together, contrary to what Blythe thought of the two nights.

     Blythe returned with Kara at 8.am at the Funny Farm and led Kara to the kitchen where breakfast was set up.

     “Hey Blythe you’re looking beautiful today!” Neo exclaimed!

     The other Council members laughed really hard as Blythe looked like she didn’t get much sleep and looked mighty tired.

      “Never again are you staying with me Fruit Loop!” Blythe hissed.

     “Oh but Fluffy come on we had such a wonderful time!” Kara whined.

     Blythe rolled her eyes and the council again started laughing. The laughter was interrupted as Chaos donned a tuxedo and started singing Happy Birthday to Kara and dancing all the while holding a plate of Chaos shaped pancakes and waffles.

     “Happy birthday Karaaaaaaaa!” Chaos exclaimed. Kara turned pale and looked like she was nearly going to faint, but managed to say thank you to Chaos.

     “Lets eat!” Neo drooled, while Kara didn’t look like she had much of an appetite. Kara had breakfast with the Council and Chaos.

      “Did you get everything done for Kara’s birthday?” Blythe whispered to Chaos.

      “I sure did!” Chaos whispered back and at that Blythe grinned from ear to ear.

      Everyone looked to be enjoying breakfast except Kara, who tried to forget that the pancakes and waffles were shaped like her fuzzball buddy. Breakfast was over and Council said that they had a surprise for Kara waiting for her in the backyard. Kara beamed. “It can’t get worse than this.” she said to herself. Boy was she wrong. Council led Kara to the middle of the backyard of the funny farm and looked around for her surprise. All of a sudden, all the members of the guild held up their Chaos-shaped sludge. Council ran for their hidden stash in the bushes. They all sludged Kara from head to toe. Kara shrieked but was yet amused with the fact that the sludge was shaped like Kara.

     “ Don’t forget to thank Dr. Frank Sloth for the Chaos shaped sludge!” Neo chuckled.

     Kara gave neo a nasty look and then ran from the backyard as it seemed like the sludge-throwing was relentless. Kara likes sludge but has never encountered so much at one time since the many sludge fights were nothing compared to all the sludge she was getting.

     “She should be heading for her room!” Suze laughed.

     “ What’s so funny about that?” Julie asked.

     “There are tons of pictures of Chaos and more sludge sculptures in her room courtesy of Chaos!” Suze replied, laughing even more hysterically.

      The guild members were in an uproar of laughter and could not stop laughing until they heard a loud scream.

     “AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” screamed Kara really loud, a scream that all of Neopia probably heard.

     “I guess she got to her room!” Shelly laughed and laughed. Everyone laughed until their stomachs hurt and then laughed some more.

     “Okay I think we should be nice to her now. It is her birthday. Let’s all go to her room with her chocolate birthday cake and all the chocolate goodies. They’re in the kitchen.” said Suze.

      All the members went to get the cake and the chocolate to bring to Kara’s room. They got to Kara’s room and the members started singing Happy Birthday.

     “Kara! Open the door. We got a cake for you!” said Neo.

     “Yeah right, no way! And I bet if you do have a cake for me it’s shaped like Chaos!” Kara shrieked.

     “Karaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!” All the members yelled, but got no response from Kara.

     Neo reached into his pocket, smiled and said, “I got a key to all the rooms at the Funny Farm. Neo opened the door and looked in Kara’s room but she seemed to be nowhere in sight. Sounds of laughter could be heard as they saw the framed pictures of Chaos and pictures all over Kara’s wall. Members started to search the room. She wasn’t under the bed, the bathroom, or the shower. Shelly opened the closet and pointed down at Kara’s shoes. She had tried to hide in a pile of clothes but missed covering her shoes. Shelly pushed the clothes aside and gently tried to pull Kara up.

     “Kara come out! It’s okay – look, we brought you some cake and chocolate. Show her the cake!” said Shelly.

     Jereme held up the cake and said, “Look, it’s chocolate and not shaped like Chaos".

     Kara peaked and got up when she saw that the cake wasn’t shaped like Chaos. She looked around to see all her guild buddies. A smile came to her face. Finally, something good happened on her birthday. Jereme lit the candles, and everyone started to sing Happy Birthday again. Kara blew out the candles and made a wish.

     “Thank you everyone for the cake and chocolate!”.

     Everyone ate and after everyone was done, they went to the ballroom (Yes there is a ballroom at the Funny Farm, that’s where Kara practices her dancing.)where there was food and dancing. The members danced and ate and Kara danced with Chaos, just to be polite to that fuzzball.

      “Hope you liked your present Kara!” said Chaos.

     “I, uh, sure did.” Kara replied to be polite.

     She didn’t want to hurt the little fuzzball’s feelings after all that he did. Kara’s birthday celebration ended, and the tired members left for bed. Kara went back to her room and started to take down Chaos’s pictures and get rid of all the framed portraits of Chaos. Kara went to bed with thoughts of all that had happened on her birthday. It certainly will be a birthday Kara will never forget!
