Quote of the Week
The golden light of the tropical sun filtered in through the windows, beaming onto the blue Shoyru and kissing him awake. Nuttie gingerly rubbed his sleep-blurred eyes and blinked a few times to adjust to the rays of sunshine that illuminated his room. It was a lazy Sunday, but Nuttie had much bigger plans for the day. He quickly brushed his teeth and scrambled down to the kitchen, where Jamie -- Nuttie's owner -- had been cooking up a batch of delectable pancakes, leaving the aroma of butter and golden syrup lingering in the air.
The Maraquan Lutari: An Interview with the Artist!
On Lutari Day of Year 22, the Maraquan Lutari was officially released. If you spent any time on the Neoboards that day, you’d already know that the design was met with massive public approval. Some users had the following to say about the Maraquan Lutari: “I love it! I think the design is amazing”; “My favourite new colour/species combo in a long time”; “I can’t wait to get one”; “Even though they’re a bit harder to customize... |
Book Reviews & Recommendations: Altador Cup Edition
Prettyful_me, my Kau, absolutely LOVES reading, so she and I spend a lot of time reading all kinds of books together. Over the years, we have read a LOT of books, so she and I decided to start reviewing them. With the Altador Cup coming up, we thought this would be the perfect time to put together a list of book recommendations about the beautiful land of Altador and the exciting athletic events of the Altador Cup... |

Other Stories |
"Leon Lupe and the Secrets of Happy Valley" by singintomymouth Leon Lupe stared into the black-brown depths of his unsweetened borovan. He sat in a little diner that was the locals’ best-kept secret here in Happy Valley – a valley whose name could not be more deceptive that day. Snow fell in droves just beyond the frosty window glass, but the bitter borovan and the mystery burning in his mind staved off the harsh chill. Outside, beyond the cosy wooden cabins with windows glowing from warm fireplaces, beyond the gaggle of young Unis learning to ice-skate on knobbly knees, he saw the silhouette of a lone Lupe out on the mountain in the blizzard wind... |
"The Werelupe in Room 453" by sunbathr It had been fourteen days and six hours since my owner had checked me into the NeoLodge, and I was finally ready to confront Gregor.
I guess I’m getting ahead of myself, though, since you don’t know who Gregor is, yet. Let me start at the beginning.
My owner dropped me off at the Cockroach Towers for a twenty-eight day stay when she found out she’d won a free trip to Faerieland. She’s been stressed lately, so I understood, and wished her a great trip. Unfortunately for me, my first week at the NeoLodge wasn’t all that great, and I even got a bit lonely. On my seventh night there, though, things began to look up. |
"Imiya's Stop in Faerie City" by bobajfett Imiya’s eyes widened as she took in her surroundings. She couldn’t help looking up to take in all the beautiful, ethereal faeries and various flying critters that were buzzing overhead. So much so that she had to be especially careful to stay on the designated path weaving through Faerieland. It might be difficult to believe that there was lush greenery abounding so high up in the clouds but Imiya could see it now with her very own eyes. The trees and grass and flowers were vastly different from the ones from her native Meridell. There were pools and lakes and waterfalls in every direction she looked, crowned by a variety of wispy and swirly mists. |
