Week One - Thursday

League One

Entering Thursday, Jimmy James was hoping to put himself in a positon to join Mr. Roboto in The Knockout Round. To do so, he'd have to beat Snowflake, who was still searching for her first win. Jimmy scored early and often, cruising to a 12-1 triumph. So now, Friday's match between Billy Bob Fandango and The Black Widow will decide it all... will Billy Bob win and advance, or will Black Widow be a spoiler and hand a spot in the second round to Jimmy James?

League Two

The big news in League Two has to be the emergence of Hip Jive Robot, who followed up Tuesday's win against The Molecule with a pair of victories on Thursday. In his first match, HJR was able to shut down Bubbles' high-powered offense and come away with an impressive 9-2 win. Later in the day, Hip Jive Robot was victorious once more as he defeated Cupcake 8-4. After losing to HJR, Bubbles rebounded with a stirring 4-2 win over The Beader.

League Three

Going into today's match against Sharptalon, The Big Spender sought to secure himself a spot in The Knockout Round. Despite Sharptalon's efforts to keep the match close, Spender's blistering volley of shots gave him the win, 5-2. With his latest triumph, The Big Spender joined C Dawg in representing League Three for the second round. In other action, The Oracle picked up four points with a 7-2 win over Spazz and a 5-5 tie against Sharptalon.

League Four

With Mr. Insane's place in The Knockout Round already assured, Electric Blue Monkey looked to insure his own attendance in the second round. After an impressive 7-2 win against Viola, in which EBM dominated every facet of the game, Electric Blue Monkey faced off against Super Dad, who'd just come off a thrilling 6-5 victory over Level 3 Warrior. Despite being a heavy underdog, Super Dad put up quite a fight before finally losing 3-1.

League Five

In today's only League Five matchup, Tiger Catcher took on Pop Tart, who was trying to salvage some dignity after yesterday's shocking loss to Mr. Q. But it wasn't to be--after accidentally putting the ball in her own goal a few times, Pop Tart couldn't overcome TC's pronounced advantage in the Power-Up category. And so, with Mr. Q and Bye-Gon Jinx already in Round Two, Tiger Catcher enters Friday's match against Q hoping for a wild card slot.

League Six

There were no League Six matches today.

League Seven

Coming into today's matches, Mr. Pickles was looking to slip past Dom Dread and earn himself a spot in the second round of the tournament. In his first match, Pickles utilised his defensive wizardry to defeat Jasmine 4-0. Later in the day, Pickles scored another shutout, this time beating Monitor Lizard 1-0. In other action, Jasmine's 5-2 upset of Dom Dread ended any hopes he might have had of securing a spot in The Knockout Round.
