A Cyrodrake in the Mist

Rolling haze, a barren night,
The moonlight dulled to pallid light.
Thus I walked, alert with fear,
Lest steps behind me should I hear.

The shivers taunted through my spine,
The eerie mists did twist, entwine.
A sudden sound from hanging bough,
A silken flapping heard, I vow.

I struggled, staring through the night,
Alarmed by vision, crimson light.
One single orb on tree's top rung,
In terror, back so fast I sprung!

Adjusting to the moonlight haze,
I recognised that single gaze.
The creature blessed with but one eye,
We stared, the Cyrodrake and I.

A contest, battle of the wills,
Enough to bring one's soul to chills.
A staring battle, too and 'fro,
His one eye gleaming, bright, aglow.

In tattered span his leather wings,
So webbed and torn, those eerie things.
He scowled and lowered single brow,
So smug and perched upon that bough.

The hours passed, I could not count,
(Seemed endless though, by my account!)
My gaze did falter, gave one blink,
In victory, did Petpet wink.

Next time I saw one, I must say,
I was much wiser, looked away.
If staring contest should begin,
With Cyrodrakes, you'll never win.

Without You

Without you I have no life,
Without you I'm filled with strife,
Without you I cannot win,
My fiery little Gallion.

Petpets all around rejoice,
When you lift your dulcet voice,
Golden horns and scarlet eyes,
Wings that lift you to the skies.

You sit upon my left shoulder,
And never ever tip over,
Even when I run so fast,
That no other pet could last.

My little Gallion, dear to me,
Never ever ever leave,
If you did to whom would I say,

Halloween Krawk: Petpet Appreciation Day!

My Halloween Krawk, she's rather cool
She's black, white and green -- but a bit of a fool
She'll run around, she'll jump and skip
Then when we get home, our room is a tip!
Petpet bed is toppled over,
Food and drink all over the sofa!
The rug is looking worse for wear,
And the curtains seem to have a tear!

My Halloween Krawk, she's just too crazy
However, on the other hand, she's also rather lazy
She likes to sit amongst leftover grub
Not only that, she hates the tub
But despite her every flaw,
She's still the best Halloween Krawk I ever saw.
Treat your Petpet with respect;
You'll never know when you'll be in their debt

Even though you're not a pet like me,
You'll always be most special to me.

A friend is something amazing,
Let me take you under my wing,
Together we will travel the world,
Look at our sails, they are unfurled.

My friend look there, an island rare,
Of pirates, but "We do not care!"
Together we're unstoppable,
Our triumph is more than probable.

We shall sail the seas together,
Because we shall be friends forever,
We're so alike, both you and I,
Though you swim and I sail to the sky.

A fight that we shall always win,
The forces of evil come caving in,
We are together, standing tall,
And we shall rise above them all.

Oh yes we're great, Oh yes we're strong,
Tales of us shall go on for long,
But stronger than our awesome power
Is the friendship we'll share for many hours.

I am but a Pteri red,
I dream inside my little bed,
And with me always, there is you,
My little Petpet Baby Blu.
