Luckily For You There's Meerca Chase by triple_triad | |
So you want to get better at Meerca Chase? Lucky for you, I'm here to help!
Follow my directions and you should be having a better game in no time!
Step Number One: Pre-Game Preparation
In order to really be ready to go, you have to get yourself into the right state
of mind. First, think of yourself as Meerca. A hungry one. Then think of how
good those Neggs are going to taste. Mouth watering yet? If not, try it again.
Keep in mind, too, how gross the bad Neggs are. After you become the Meerca,
you have to be at one with the keyboard. It's your path to Meerca Chase glory,
so treat it well. Once you have done this, proceed to step two.
Step Number Two: Setting up
First, open the window up. I'd suggest picking the bigger window, because it's
just easier to see (and you can see the expressions on those Neggs faces when
you gobble them down!). Next, pick your difficulty level. If you haven't played
before, or aren't that good (or if you're just a bit rusty), it would be best
to pick Easy to start off. Practice with that for a while. Like they say, practice
makes perfect. After you have gotten used to the Easy difficulty level, move
on to Medium. That's right. Medium. You will pick Medium and only Medium. Scared
yet? If not, then start practicing on Medium for a bit to get used to the extra
speed (and the extra points!) before you even think of going on to Hard. Once
you have mastered the Medium, then, and only then, may you pick Hard. Now. Practice.
Practice, Practice, Practice. Did I forget to mention practice? This is the
level you will probably want to be playing on, because of the extra points.
You may want to play on Medium, but you'll really be hurtin' if a Fish Negg
comes your way. So, practice and get used to the speed, then continue on to
step three.
Step Number Three: Playing
Now, you've practiced your rear end off getting good enough for this. I'm
actually gonna let you seriously play. Some tips you might need for getting
the Neggs will also come in handy. Here's the ones I can give you: I-Don't go
crazy trying to pick up Neggs up on the first go around. Circle back and get
'em later. II-With slower connections and/or slower processors, the longer a
tail you have, the slower you go. This has it's bad side too, which you'll find
out soon enough, but the bottom line is slow is better. III-When you spot a
Negg lying against the side of the window, try to come at it from the side,
not head on. It is quite hard to pull off the turn if you come at it directly.
IV-To get Neggs right beside a bad Negg, leave yourself as much elbow room as
possible. V-Plan your attack route. If you know what you're gonna do, you'll
end with more points. VI-Plan your escape route in advance. You don't have the
luxury of dawdling around looking for a way out. You've got to get out NOW,
and you have to know where that exit is. Period.
Now that you've become the Meerca, you're at one with the keyboard, your practice
is perfect and the points are at your fingertips. Right? If so, go on to the
fourth and final step, Step Number Four.
Step Number Four: Winning
All right. You've caught more than your fair share of Neggs, and you left the
game smiling. What next? Taking your winnings home, of course. Just send your
score in, and celebrate. You've just made yourself some Neopoints. Take your
pets out to dinner. Buy them some toys. Do whatever you want with it - you're
a Meerca Chase Master!
*Disclaimer* It's not my fault if you don't strike it rich. Just try again
