No one likes a weak pet that isn't painted with an expensive paint brush, amazingly
strong stats, or elegant PetPets. You want other fellow Neopians to gaze at
your beautiful pet in awe at your funky pet, but how do you do it?
Considering you are just starting, is your pet painted? A good idea is to
check the news section of Neopia daily. You never know if your pet may be able
to be painted your favourite colour! Also, is that a new paint brush out? It
may appeal to you and you know you want to get it right away! Check the Rainbow
Pool's list of all the colours your pet can be painted. Then, you'll find if
it is the right price for you with the Shop Wizard. He will search in random
worlds to see if he can find the cheapest price. Most of the time, you will
see that the prize is too expensive for your income. But don't give up! If the
prize is 1-15,000 more NP than you have there is still hope. Check the prize
again! Chances are the prize will lower in a few days. If not, start playing
games. Try games such as swarm, Destruct-O-Match, Poogle Solitaire, Kikomatch
II, Meerca Chase, and Wheel of Excitement. There are tons of games out there
that will help you earn NP! Remember to do daily things like the Advent Calendar,
Tombola, Fruit Machine, and Coltzan's Shrine to get some quick NP daily. Soon
you'll get enough!!!
Now that you painted your pet with your newly purchased paint brush there is
still more. Does your pet have a pet? These are easily purchased for less than
10,000 NP and many under 4,000 NP! Now that you have a PetPet its time for a
PetPet Paint Brush! Must of the time all PetPets look great with even solid
colours. Also, prices are dropping for the scary looking Halloween PetPet Paint
Brush, so why not give it a try? It gives it a great traditional touch. But
what should your pets name be? Don't give your Whoot a name whooty or owl. Think
of something original like your crush's name spelled backwards, or your teddy
bears name. Anything will work! And make sure its something that suits you and
you have fun with!
Now we are finally done with the expensive part! Yipee! It is time to buy
toys and feed your pet. You should give your NeoPet about three meals a day
just like a human. You can do this by playing Tombola, the Fruit Machine, and
the biggest help, the giant omelette. The giant omelette is located in the prehistoric
city of Tyrannia. Each day it feeds thousands of pets and making sure every
one has a full stomach. Well, its great that your NeoPet looks great and is
fully feed, but its still bored, even with its PetPet. This one is easy to take
care of and you can go to the toy shop and get a Fuzzle for less then 300 NP!
Type up plushie in the Shop Wizard and you'll get tons of them less than 500
NP! Went to the Usuki shop lately? buy one and play with your pet. Chances are,
your pet has found its new best friend!
Now if you followed the these directions carefully, you are bound to have
a nice, happy, handsome, and polite pet. You'll have tons of benefits like compliments
from your Neo friends about the fantastic job you did raising your pet. Just
make sure that you don not spoil your pet by buying Easter Neggs and mach bread
for breakfast instead of an organic apple, orange juice, and their Purplum sandwich.
