M&C: Hello.
A: How are you?
M&C: Good.
A: How is your garage sale going?
M: It’s still going pretty well. It’s been months since we first started
it but items are still selling very fast!
A: How much are you earning from your garage sales?
C: A lot, actually. We earn thousands of Neopoints a day, we earn more
Neopoints than most NeoPets that have jobs! We earn money from items we
don’t need anymore like baby foods and PetPets.
A: You must have a very big attic.
C: We do, it’s a lot bigger than our kitchen and our living room combined.
It’s we’re we put our old stuff. It’s so big and full of so many stuff
that you might actually get lost in there! Believe me, I was lost for
two hours there. Luckily, I found a walkie-talkie in a pile of items and
Mike heard me with the other walkie-talkie. But you won’t get lost anymore
because we cleaned and fixed it.
A: How much exactly are you earning a day with your garage sales?
M: I’d say about 50,000 to 75,000 NP, even more. But not less than 50,000.
We mostly earn all the money from selling our PetPets. We have so much
more of them than Peopatra
has in her little PetPet stall.
A: So you’ve been out of Terror
Mountain before?
C: Oh, no. We had customers come in from all parts of Neopia, most of
them from hot climates like the Lost Desert. We talk to some of them and
they said we had a bigger supply of PetPets and other stuff in our house
than most stores.
A: I’ve been meaning to ask you this question since the start of our
interview.... Are you ever going to move to a tropical climate?
M: Hmmm.... Well, we’re not really sure. You see, we earn a lot of money
from our garage
sale. And we’ve been thinking twice of moving, because I wonder
if we’re ever going to be successful if we live in another place. If we
stay, we’re thinking of buying cheaper stuff and sell it in our garage
sale for a bit higher price. But we’ve been also thinking, if we run out
of stuff in our attic, which will be a very long time from now, we might
have more than a million NPs by then so we’re thinking of not working
anymore if we move.
A: If you did move, what is the place that you want to move in?
C: We’ve been thinking of that, too. I think it’s either Faerieland or
Mystery Island. It’s definitely not the Lost Desert because it’s waaaay
too hot in there and we’re used to a cold climate. We’ve been looking
over brochures of Mystery Island and we think it’s a pretty mysterious
but interesting place to live in. But we’re not even sure if we will move
yet!
