This Treasure was supposed to be worth 100 million NP initially, however, some bargain-hungry Meepits snuck into the Tower and ate a zero off the price tag, making it 10 million NP. Thus, the price of the Retired Hidden Tower Treasure will be increased, not to 100 million, but to 50 million NP!

We also wanted to let you know that the avatar associated with this Treasure is meant to be a long-term goal that is rewarded after a certain number of purchases, rather than spending an NP total. We hope this helps provide more clarity, and lastly, you may want to hug the Meepit nearest you for their...hunger of price tags.
