Do you like archery? Have decent aim? Then Bullseye is
your ticket to fun and fortune!
Bullseye is one of the least-played games in Neopia,
from what I’ve seen. But it’s also one of the simplest and most profitable
games out there! It’s easy to master, and even if you don’t feel like
working up to perfection, the rewards for playing just okay can be more
than most other games.
In this article, I’ll explain how Bullseye works, what
you can get from playing, and how it has boosted me to the half million
NP mark in only two months!
Bullseye is not only one game, it’s really two. The first
kind of Bullseye is Normal Bullseye. In this version, you take 10 shots
with the dartapult (a little machine that shoots a dart) at a target.
Adjust the dartapult’s aim, hold down the power button until you think
the dart has got enough power to reach the target, then release the power
button to let the dart fly. You can score 2, 4, 6 or 10 points per shot
depending on how close you are to the Bullseye (center of the target);
two being the worst and 10 being a Bullseye
Your final score will be multiplied by half the number
of Bullseyes you get. It may sound confusing, but it’s actually simple.
That means that, say, if you get four Bullseyes out of ten, your score
is doubled! Four out of ten isn’t such a hard thing after a few games
for practice. Imagine how much you’d make if you go past that. ;)
The maximum you can score is 500 Neopoints per game.
That’s a perfect score. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Wow, 500 Neopoints
just for one game! That’s a lot.” But the rewards don’t stop there. If
you do manage to score that perfect game, you get a prize for it! A (randomly
chosen) magical bow that can be used in the Battledome, or, if you’re
like me, sold for more NP! Not only are these bows not available in the
Main Shops, but some of them can be worth a lot. You can get bows worth
anything from 400 NP to 6000 NP.
On rare occasions, you might even get a bow that’s worth
over 100,000 NP! This has happened to me once already, and I’ve only been
playing for two months. There are several “unbuyable” bows out there (the
Ancient Manchu Bow, the Dual Tech Bow, etc.), and all it takes is one
lucky Bullseye game for you to get one! Not only that, but you can play
Normal Bullseye three times. That’s triple the points, triple the bows,
and triple the chances that you might get a really rare bow to use or
sell.
And that’s just the first half! The second option you
can play is Super Bullseye This version is more challenging, but not impossible
to master, and you get the chance to score a lot more points! Take 15
shots with the dartapult at a *moving* target instead of one that stands
still. (That’s what makes it so super. ^_~) You can score 5, 15, 30 or
65 points per shot; 5 being the outer rim of the target and 65 being a
Bullseye
The maximum amount of points per game is 975! That’s
a big number compared to what other games may offer. There are no extra
perks for getting Bullseyes in this version. At the end you get the amount
of points you scored, no extra multiplying or anything. You can play this
three times a day for Neopoints, like most other flash games in Neopia.
And the best part is, you can play three games of each
version every day, you don’t have to choose between one or the other.
This gives you six chances to score a lot of points!
I’ve been lucky enough to master both versions, and it
has really paid off for me. In my opinion, it’s one of the easiest and
most fun to do, because all you have to do is learn how to judge distance
and speed, which is just common sense sometimes. There’s nothing else
to worry about; no advanced levels, no enemies to beat, just shooting
a dart at a target.
If you save your winnings and sell off those bows, you
can easily make anywhere from 2000 to 12000 NP in one day! So what are
you waiting for? Get that dartapult cranking! :)
