Twenty years ago, three infant Aishas were found by
a CIA Chomby. The Chomby took the babies in and little by little taught
them the art of self-defense. Now, in present time, the Aishas, nicknamed
the angels, work for Chomby. Ashley, the youngest angel is a beautiful
rainbow colour. She is the most athletic of the angels. Mandy is the heart
of the team. Her kindness helps through some hard times. Mandy’s yellow
shade complements her happy mood. Finally, Lil the oldest member of the
team is extremely smart. Lil is the colour blue and always has an answer
for every question. Together these three Aishas make up the elite combat
team, Chomby’s Angels.
“I am so bored,” Ashley said lying down on Chomby’s couch.
“Chomby should be calling us any time now. He said he
would need us today remember,” Lil said opening a jar a peanut butter
and getting a knife from a nearby cabinet.
“I can’t begin to guess what Chomby would need us for
this time,” Mandy said turning on the television.
Suddenly the phone rang and Ashley rushed up and put
the call on the intercom.
“Good morning Angels,” a voice said from the intercom.
“Good morning Chomby,” the three Aisha’s said in unison.
“Today I have a big assignment for you Angels. A Chia
named Miss Kay Carpenter will be arriving soon. Kay needs your help. Last
week Kay’s pent house apartment was broken into. Kay says she saw a robber
dressed in black that looked like a Buzz. The robber stole 100,000,000
NPs worth of jewelry from her,” Chomby’s voice explained.
“Why would Kay have such valuable jewelry just laying
around the house?” Mandy asked.
“That’s the mystery. All of the jewelry was locked up
in a safe with an 11-digit combination. Kay had it locked and has never
told anyone the combo. The only way the thief could have gotten into the
safe would be to go into Kay’s room and get the combination paper from
her desk drawer which was inspected but did not look tampered with,” Chomby
replied.
Just then, a plump Chia with 10 pounds of makeup on her
face walked in.
“Hello, I am Miss Kay Carpenter. I was supposed to meet
a Chomby,” Kay started.
“We work for Chomby. We will be assisting you for this
case. You said you thought a Buzz had robbed you?” Lil asked.
“Yes, I saw wings and immediately thought it was a Buzz,”
Kay explained.
“Miss Carpenter, there are more than one species of pet
with wings. Why would you think it was a Buzz?” Ashley asked.
“Buzz’s have always been known to be trouble,” Kay replied.
“Just because you have a prejudice against Buzz’s does
not mean one robbed you Miss. Now, only tell us the facts. Do you have
any enemies?” Mandy asked.
“Yes. A long time ago I went with a Scorchio. His name
is George McMally. I got bored of him quickly and started to date another
more charming Scorchio. He never forgave me. To this day he and his Eyrie
friend Peter still despise me. The only other enemies I have are old friends
from high school. Prenela Pteri, Sally Shoyru, Kelly Korbat, Babette Uni,
and Winifred Skeith. The guy who sold me the safe and jewelry didn’t like
me much either. I believe his name is Larry Lenny. That is all my enemies,”
Kay concluded.
“Oh great. Now we have a huge list of suspects who all
have wings and none of them are a Buzz,” Ashley whined.
“Okay Miss Carpenter we will start our assignment today.
We will call you when we get any information,” Lil said.
Kay left quickly and the Angels decided to check out
George McMally first. Love is a powerful thing and can drive pets crazy.
Could the breakup have made George angry enough to steal from Kay? They
were about to find out. Lil knocked on George’s door. An Eyrie peaked
around the corner and greeted the Angels harshly.
“What do you want,” the Eyrie snapped.
“We are here to talk to George McMally. It’s about Kay
Carpenter,” Mandy said.
“He’s not here. Can I help you?” the Eyrie asked.
“Yes. What is your name?” Ashley questioned.
“I’m Peter Granger. I met George 10 years ago when he
was going with Kay. She was always so rich and snobby. I heard she was
robbed. It serves her right. George got over her quick. He’s dating a
cute little Poogle now,” Peter said.
“Thanks anyway but I think we’ll try to come back later
to talk to George,” Lil said closing the front door.
“Ashley, I saw a window in the back of the house. Mandy
and I will hoist you up to it. You go in and find George. I’m sure he’s
in there somewhere,” Lil said.
The Angels rushed to the back of the house and helped
Ashley into the window. Once Ashley was inside she headed to the basement
to find George.
“Hey how did you get in? I told Pete to not let anyone
see me today,” George said.
“Are you hiding something or can I ask you a few questions?”
Ashley asked.
“No I have nothing to hide. Ask away,” George said nervously.
“Did you know that Kay Carpenter had a lot of money invested
in jewelry?” Ashley questioned.
“Yeah, she kept it in a safe in her living room. I heard
someone robbed her the other day. That’s terrible. She had it coming though.
She didn’t hide the combination papers in a very good place. She always
hid them in her desk,” George said.
“So you knew how to gain access to her jewelry. Have
you ever seen the combination before?” Ashley asked.
“No. She wouldn’t even let her own mother see the papers.
That is too bad she got scammed,” George said.
“Well thanks for the information anyway,” Ashley said
walking toward the stairs.
“Thank you for the time you stayed. I paged Pete while
you were questioning me and the police should be waiting outside. They
will be interested about this illegal act of breaking into someone else’s
house,” George said.
“I can’t believe you,” Ashley said.
“Put you hands above your head and freeze,” an Acara
policeman said handcuffing Ashley.
Ashley was taken outside and into the police car. Mandy
and Lil watched from the backyard with horrible looks on their faces.
They knew they had to finish this case. Ashley could wait until later.
“We need to question Kay’s old gang of girlfriends about
the jewelry and then go bail Ashley out. I wonder if she got any information
from George,” Lil said.
“Okay. I’ve found out where to find the girls. They live
just a few blocks down,” Mandy said.
The remaining Angels headed down the street to meet up
with Prenela, Sally, Kelly, Babette, and Winifred.
“Good afternoon ladies. Myself and Lil here would like
to ask you a few questions about a Chia named Kay. Would you like to be
questioned separately or altogether?” Mandy asked.
“We get questioned together or we don’t get questioned
at all,” Prenela yelled.
“Okay. Did you know that Kay had a lot of money?” Lil
asked.
“No we didn’t know anything about her home life. We knew
she had some money but not a ton,” Babette said.
“Did you know about her elaborate jewelry?” Mandy asked.
“Yeah her watches were…” Kelly started to say but was
elbowed in the side by Prenela.
“No. Like I said we didn’t know about her money,” Prenela
continued.
“I see ladies. Thank you for you’re time,” Lil said.
The Angels left and headed downtown. They had to bail their little Ashley
Angel out.
“Mr. Policeman, we are with the CIA and that innocent
little Aisha in cell 128 was just investigating a suspect. Please set
her free we need to finish our case,” Lil said.
“No way no how,” the policeman said.
“Can we talk to her?” Mandy asked.
“Yep,” the policeman said leading them to her cell.
“Mandy, Lil, you came,” Ashley screamed.
“They won’t let you free,” Mandy cried.
“I didn’t think they would,” Ashley said giving the policeman
a dirty look as he walked away.
“What did George say?” Lil asked.
“He knew all about the jewelry and the safe. He also
knew where she hid the combination. I bet he did it. He tricked me into
this situation,” Ashley said.
“Okay Ashley listen carefully. We are going to Larry
Lenny’s safe and jewelry shop. You are to jump up to the barred window
at the back of your cell and squeeze through the bars. Meet us at Larry’s,”
Mandy explained.
“Okay Mandy. I’ll be there,” Ashley said. Mandy and Lil
left and headed for Larry’s Jewelers. They immediately found Larry.
“Hello may I help you?” Larry asked the girls.
“Yeah we need some information about Kay Carpenter,”
Mandy said.
“Sorry lady but I don’t talk about my customers,” Larry
said.
Suddenly a smash of glass came from above. Two black
clothed winged pets landed inside the shop.
“This is a holdup,” One of the robbers said.
“Yeah, we got Kay Carpenter's jewels last night and now
we’re moving in for the big kill,” the other robber said as both criminals
started to bag the loot.
“No way losers,” Mandy said doing a back flip and nailing
one of the robbers in the stomach.
“Yes way,” the robber said throwing a sticky net over
Mandy trapping her.
“Let her go,” Lil said rushing toward Mandy.
“Your turn,” the robber said throwing another net trapping
Lil.
“Now we can loot the place and run,” one robber said
to the other.
“You really think so,” came Ashley’s voice from behind
the robbers.
In a couple of upper cuts, jump kicks, and back flips,
the robbers were on the floor.
“Now we can see who you really are,” Ashley said lifting
off the black masks to reveal Prenela and George.
“I knew it,” Ashley said.
Soon the police arrived and took George and Prenela into
the slammer for life. Lil and Mandy were freed from the nets and the Angels
finished their assignment.
“Good job Angels,” Chomby’s voice came from the intercom
back at the house.
The Angels laughed and continued on with their chores.
