Kickin' Kikos - A Guide

Hello, this is Disco_Dude_5000, and its loving owner, louise5000. We decided to write this small guide to owners all over Neopia, and of course, their Kikos.

We hope that by reading this article you will learn to be a better owner, a better pet, or a better friend. Now, hold on tight, and make sure you are wearing your bathing suit!

Being a good Kiko owner
As we all know, every NeoPet has its own characteristics, but knowing what is typical to the specie as a whole gives you a whole lot of a boost to making your pet happy. First of all, you have to consider what it LITERALLY is.

Kikos are, well, round looking balls that float with hands and big eyes. Going a bit more specifically, they are cute, water dwelling, shy pets. Kikos don’t like having much attention, they just like being loved.

Playing games with them makes the very happy, and they especially like Kiko toys. They aren’t great beauty lovers, but a Kiko winning a beauty parlour is so rare these days that they probably would be proud, for a change.

Don’t take the "Don’t need attention" too far, because your Kiko will get VERY offended. To make your Kiko more outgoing, try making it somewhat more easy to take note of, such as high leveled or painted.

Kikos aren’t very good battlers though, so it may be a waste trying to make them too high leveled, unless you are willing to spend a bit more on battle items, and most importantly, Faeries, since abilities are one of the most needed thing in battle.

Well, I hope you now know more about your Kiko, so go on, go buy it a new toy for it to show off. :P

Being a good friend to a Kiko
Being a friend of a Kiko may be hard for a pet such as the Poogle, or Cybunny, since they draw so much attention to themselves and pets around them, but it is possible, with love and loyalty to each other. A Kiko’s friend must know that Kikos like peace. Some of their hobbies are swimming (obviously), listening to music, and reading.

Note from Disco_Dude_5000: Kikos DO NOT like being used as a kick ball!!

Yes, that is true. Although Kikos DO look like one, they think it is a very rude to act as though they ARE one…. *Thinks: I HAVE to talk to his siblings about that issue….*

Being a good Kiko
Well, being a good Kiko is something very simple for Kikos. They just have to follow a few… er…guidelines… And they are as follows:

1. Never call another Kiko an empty ball… (I don’t know why Disco_Dude_5000 insisted on this…)
2. Never say you are smarter than someone, although it is probably true since Kikos are good learners.
3. Never agree to be used as a ball.
4. Don’t brag about being a good swimmer. (You can after winning a race though!)

There are a few more, but me and Disco_Dude_5000 thought these were the most important. Well, I think you should now be a pretty good Kikoish citizen. :P
