Revenge: Part Four

The Next morning, Nicolna got up early and wondered where Ambreeze would be. She ate her NeoCrunch and then walked out the door and he was standing there, smiling. She hopped on his back and they flew over to the Haunted Woods. They were going to get another quest from the Brain Tree to find out where the Swamp Ghoul lived. They reached the Brain Tree and Nicolna hopped off Ambreeze's back, "Hi, Uh... Mr. Brain Tree..."

"YOU HAVE FAILED ME! Little ones, FAILED!" Boomed the Brain Tree.

Nicolna got scared of what he might do to them. "But Mr. Brain-"

"ENOUGH! I suggest you leave. Come back later when I am not so mad. Maybe then I'll give you yet another quest, or I might just tell you the answer." Nicolna smiled and hopped back on Ambreeze's back. He flew her back to Neopian Central and they went over to go look at the Gallery of Evil. They looked at beast after beast. Each one made them both Shiver. But then finally, They saw the Swamp Ghoul's profile. Nicolna got very angry at the very site of him. She squinted her eyes and gave the picture of him an evil look. Ambreeze read it out loud:

"These spectres of the swamp find
their victims by the smell of their
loneliness. They are forever in search
of pets and owners caught alone in
the fog. You will know a Swamp Ghoul, by the stench of evil and a cold
chill in the air. If you have the
misfortune to be visited by the
Swamp Ghoul be thankful if he only
relieves you of an item or two."

The two pets shivered and wondered where they would ever find the Swamp Ghoul, then suddenly they smelled the stench of evil and they felt a cold chill in the air. Nicolna scooched closer to Ambreeze and he put his wings around her.

She gulped and then they heard an awful sour and sweet at the same time kind of voice and it said, "The Brain Tree told me you were looking for me. He said that you were talking about coming to look me up in the gallery of evil. Well guess what, you have a new Battledome challenger. Yes, I will be waiting for you in the Battledome. Come prepared and I will fight both of you, little Chia and Skeith."

He smiled and disappeared. Nicolna cried out of fear and wondered what she was going to do.

Ambreeze took her directly to the Battledome and they looked at their owner's equipment. Ambreeze was his owner's only pet. He had some armour, the Sword of Domar, and a spark shooter. Nicolna had a measly Chia Gun. She looked at Jibojibber's equipment. She had TONS of stuff. Nicolna smiled and grabbed the Purple Invisihat, the rainbow gun, the lightning gun, supersize, and the special juicy elixer that her owner had bought a couple of days before.

Nicolna bit her lip, this was one of the few healing potions that could be brought into the Battledome She grabbed it and they walked into the Battledome They looked at their scheduled fights and they were to fight him right then. The rushed over to the stone dome where he would be waiting for them, and they stepped it, the Swamp Ghoul turned around and smiled a very evil smile.

Nicolna gulped and tried to be brave. Ambreeze did, too, just for the sake of Nicolna. He had only fought in the Battledome twice and had lost both of those matches, although they were against the Elemental Faeries. Nicolna had fought several matches and had lost all of them, too.

The Swamp Ghoul nodded to both of them and said, "Well, shall we begin our match?" Nicolna nodded and put on her Purple Invisihat. She brought out her Rainbow Gun, also. Ambreeze put on his armor and took out his Sword of Domar. The Swamp Ghoul just smiled and tried hitting them with some fireballs. Ambreeze's armor made him lose only 2 Health Points. Nicolna's Invisihat made her lose only 1. The Swamp Ghoul, on the other hand, was hit with the Sword of Domar and that made him lose 5 hit points. And he was also hit with a rainbow gun, which made him lose 4. Nicolna started out with 10 health points and Ambreeze started out with 7. The Swamp Ghoul had started out with 35.

The two pets kept their defense items up, and Ambreeze kept his Sword of Domar Nicolna switched to her lightning gun. She also used her ability of spark.

The Swamp Ghoul used Demon Breath which made them both smash back into a wall, which made them both lose one health point. But the Swamp Ghoul was hit with the Sword of Domar, and that made him lose 6 health points. The Spark ability used against him made him lose 3 hit points, and the Lightning gun made his lose 4. Ambreeze then decided to lower his armour and used his Sword of Domar and his Spark Shooter. Nicolna used her Ability of Magic Pebbles, and her rainbow gun, as well as her Purple Invisihat.

The Swamp Ghoul used Life Drain and drained all of the health points out of Ambreeze right after Ambreeze used his Sword of Domar and his Spark Shooter, which made him lose 8 hit points. Nicolna's Invisihat didn't seem to do much for her, and she lost all but 3 of her health points. The Swamp Ghoul now had 2 Health Points and was very weak, but then smiled and decided to use Shadow Heal on the next turn. Nicolna was very weak also, and she reached for her Juicy Elixer, she smiled a weak smile and lowered her Purple Invisihat, she then grabbed her Chia Bubble Gun to use, also. Ambreeze decided to use his Sword of Domar if he ever got back up again.

The Swamp Ghoul noticed that he also had a Sword of Domar and grabbed it. He used Shadow heal which made him have 8 hitpoints. Then he grasped the handle on his Sword of Domar Nicolna grabbed the Juicy Elixir and poured it down Ambreeze's throat. He wondered why she didn't just use it for herself. Nicolna then grabbed her Chia Bubble Gun and shot it at the Swamp Ghoul. He was so angry at this, he thrust his Sword of Domar at Nicolna. Ambreeze stabbed him with his at the same moment, hoping the Swamp Ghoul's wouldn't hurt Nicolna. Too late.
