Sakhmet Solitaire

Everybody plays solitaire right? Almost everybody can play this simple game! Most can play without even looking at the rules. Some find it easy while others find it hard.

This game is not only simple, but it is a great source of Neopoints. Even if you don't make the high score list don't worry because the Neopoints say it all. Al you have to do is put cards on top of other cards of a different suite to clear the pile. Although I have never cleared it yet, I know some tips that will help your game.

#1) This is the most important tip: Take your time! Do NOT rush through the game. If you do you will most likely not win. This has happened to me. I placed the card from the draw pile on a column without looking at the rest. Then I noticed the same colour card in a pile with a lot of cards underneath. If I had taken my time I would have won that game. Unfortunately you can't go back.

#2) What to do if you have 2 choices:
Example: If you have the Jack of Clubs on the draw pile and you have the Queen of Hearts and the Queen of Diamonds free, it doesn't matter where you place the Jack.

Example 2: If you have the Jack of Clubs and the Jack of Spades free but only one red Queen free, then take the Jack that is on the bigger pile. If the Jack would make the column disappear, go for the other Jack. If they both have a lot of cards underneath, go for the Jack with the larger pile.

Example 3: If you have the 3 of clubs in your draw pile and the ace and the 2 of Clubs in the box, what should you do? Well it all depends on what other cards are in the box. If the 2 red aces and the two red 2s are in the box then put the 3 down in the box. If you don't have any other aces or the 1 other ace with a two then place the 3 on the 2 of clubs only if you do not have a red 4 free. If you have a red four free, put the 3 on top of that 4 in the column.

#3) Be careful! Always check your moves. Make sure they are the best of your advantage. This goes along with take your time. Make sure it will help you win not loose.
Example: Always check the cards behind the card on the draw pile. If you can use the card and can use the one behind it go for it! But, say you have another card of the same number and colour. If you can use the card behind the one in the draw pile go for that.

#4) Don't concentrate on the money. Just have fun and if you make a lot of Neopoints good for you. If you play and concentrate on the money you will loose.

#5) Turn off all other programs and put an away message on you instant messenger. Solitaire requires concentration.

#6) Don't get discouraged! If you don't win try again! You can earn up to 5,000 Neopoints but you can still play after that too!
