At first, I thought she was talking to me, but then the Earth Faerie answered her. Boy was I relieved. I held the amulet in my hand tighter.

"Is it? I sure didn't see your name on it. Besides you can't prove it belongs to you," the Earth Faerie replied.

"No?" she questioned.

I saw a lighted torch start about a foot away from me. It belonged to Wolf! In it's light I saw her, then Tiger and Worthing. They smiled at me.

"Return to your rightful owner amulet," the Dark Faerie screamed.

She had screamed so loud I slammed my hands over my ears and in the process I dropped the amulet. But, instead of falling, it flew to the Dark Faerie. I could see it because it glowed. It was like as soon as she spoke, it came to life.

At this, the Earth Faerie raged. She screamed and commanded the light to return. I knew the Dark Faerie could see in the darkness, that was common sense, but I wasn't sure about the Earth Faerie.

As soon as there was no use for the torch, Wolf made it disappear and stood perfectly still. The same went for Worthing and Tiger. They didn't want to draw attention to themselves. I myself had no problem staying still. I was frozen with a sick twist of fear, amazement, and confusion. The amulet obviously belonged to the Dark Faerie, but why would the Earth Faerie want it? Only the Dark Faerie could control it. It was impossible for a Faerie to control another Faerie's weapons.

"Yaaa!" the Earth Faerie screamed.

She had sent a brownish-green swirl from a bottle to her opponent.

The Dark Faerie had simply put up a Dark Shield around her.

"Hmph," the Earth Faerie said.

She waved her hands and vines wrapped around the Dark Shield. They looked like they were getting tighter and tighter.

"Ah!" the Dark Faerie shrieked when her shield gave way.

For a moment I thought the vines had suffocated her but then vines lost their colour and seemed to be getting weaker and weaker. Finally they just dissolved into nothing.

"Never," the Dark Faerie said.

She closed her eyes and held her hands. The Earth Faerie looked like she was about to attack her again, but before she could, a purple light came from the Dark Faerie and seemed to have gobbled up the Earth Faerie

"Wow," I thought. I wasn't sure about my NeoPets, but I just about stopped breathing. And I still didn't understand this whole thing. The Dark Faerie sighed and looked at us.

"Okay, you want an explanation?" she asked.

Once again I was surprised. I was expecting another big light, but in my direction this time.

"Well, I'll tell you all, but we gotta move. As in now," she said.

She flew between me and my NeoPets and said, "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you,"

With her words, we were vanished to some dim-lighted place.

"You all will get home in one piece, but I figured I should tell you what's going on first," the Faerie explained calmly.

The Faerie seemed to be waiting for an answer and when she didn't get one she seemed a bit frustrated.

"Well like I said I'm not going to bite your head off. Come on tell me who you are first. My name is Kenjena," she told us.

"Oh, yes of course. My name is Aldrea. These are my three NeoPets; Tiger, Worthing and Wolf," I said pointing to everyone as I said their name.

She smiled and made an extra torch so we could see better.

"Now, as for what I am to tell you I know may seem confusing, but it's very well true. That particular Earth Faerie was born with...a wrong kind of heart I guess you can say. The older she got, the worse the darkness grew in her. One day when the other Earth Faeries couldn't take it anymore they banished her from her from themselves. She vowed that day to take revenge upon them for that. Eventually, the Dark faeries saw what kind of Faerie she was and gladly took her in. So know she's like a Dark Earth Faerie That allows her to control Dark weapons along with Earth weapons - and why she was trying to take my amulet. But, she still doesn't, and never will, poses all the powers of a pure Dark Faerie Also, she said I didn't deserve such a weapon, that I was no Dark Faerie, I was to kind. And yeah I agree with her. I'm glad I am. So I guess I am Good Dark Faerie," Kenjena laughed.

"Why do you choose to be good?" Tiger asked.

"Oh, that's another story. There's no time to get into that. To tell the truth I didn't exactly destroy the Earth Faerie I just teleported her far away. It's not long before she finds me again. It's best you be gone when she arrives," the Good Dark Faerie said.

"Can you defeat her?" Worthing asked.

"Oh I'll be ready for her this time," she smiled.

"Can we...go home now, please?" Wolf asked uneasy.

"Aw, Wolf! You know-," I began.

"No, no, she's right you have to go," Kejena said seriously.

Everything went dark and then we were at the entrance to town.

"Thank you, Kenjena," I whispered.
