**This is a sequel to my previous series "The Orb of Fate". If you have not read it you still may be able to understand this series. But if you want the full extension, I suggest you read my first series.

Summer Morning
Sun Shining

Neopia Central was lit up by the beautiful morning sun. NeoPets across Neopia awoke from their peaceful sleeps. The dark forest was invaded by the blazing light, wild night creatures fled from the sun. It was an unusually warm and sunny day.

In Neopia's forest, the wind swept softly, as a small rounded object lay dug in the soil. It blinked eagerly, and moved around in its spot.

It had been laying there for practically half a year, a Neo-year for Neopians. It had slowly been regaining its energy, planning to escape the darkness of the unexplored forest. Now that the sun was beating down on it, the object started to absorb some power.

After about half an hour, it had restored its power. Nature had been useful over the passing time. It slowly lifted itself into the air, over the next minute, it had worked its way above the treetops.

It had great power, but had lost it in a previous battle that happened a Neo-year ago, but had fallen to its doom, but had been brought back to life. It also had great intelligence, and knew the exact path to travel to find the area and person it wanted to be with. Blinking with a lime green colour, it zipped off towards Faerie Land, hoping to find the Dark Faerie....

Faerie Land had been granted with the same beautiful weather as everywhere else. All the Faeries had enjoyed their sleep and got out of bed to greet the sun, then had started to do their daily Quests and Faerie things.

The Dark Faerie sat on her bed, and looked as if she was snarling at the floor.

She was not in the greatest mood that morning, nor had she had been in the greatest mood for the past Neo-year. Indeed she was involved into something a Neo-year ago, she had created an Orb that could control the fate. But it had died out, and she was punished when she had returned home to the Castle.

Moving herself over to the window to glare at the other young Faeries running around the giant yard. The Dark Faerie had no such interest in such foolish games. Instead, she had even plotting her revenge against the Faerie Castle, and her traitor, Hades, a dark soul who had helped give the Orb its power, but betrayed the Dark Faerie at the last minute.

Staring at the rising sun, the Dark Faerie placed her head on her hands. Then felt an odd tingle throughout her body. Looking around outside, she noticed a green, blinking object in the distance. She had no clue what this object was, until it came closer, and closer, and closer to the Castle, then flew through the Dark Faeries window and landed on her bed.

"What the?..."

The object blinked.

"Fate Orb?"

It blinked again.

"Yes! Fate Orb!" The Dark Faerie cackled. "I always knew you'd come back!"

The Orb flew into her arms, blinking still.

"I have been waiting for you to come back, and while waiting, I had thought up revenge for the Castle, the World! All of Neopia!"

The Orb blinked, indicating it did not like the plan.

"But this time," the Dark Faeries started, a glint of evil in her eye, "We'll win the Fate no matter what tries to stop us! We'll destroy the that traitor, then destroy the Faeries!"

Then remembering what had stopped her before, she grinned, "And after that, we'll destroy what really had stopped us...them NeoPets....we'll show them who's boss!"

In Neopia Central, in a NeoHome of sleeping pets, a striped Cybunny awoke with a startle...
