Hello, this is Daissa2000 reporting for the Neopian Times.
We are here with Princess Vyssa to talk about the Lost Desert.
(note: D stands for Daissa2000, PV stands for Princess
Vyssa)
D: Hello, Vyssa! I'm glad you could make time in your
busy schedule to talk with us and answer some questions.
PV: Oh, I'm glad to be here! All this royal stuff can
really be a drag sometimes, so I'm happy to get a break once in awhile.
D: Good. My first question is, how are you handling things
with the land since he tragic demise of your father?
PV: Well, Daissa, I enjoy being able to interact with
my people and see how the average Sakhmetian lives. But like I said before,
being a queen-to-be is a lot of work and sometimes a real burden!
D: I can imagine! Anyway, how do you feel about the increasing
amount of tourism since the big battle with Dr. Sloth?
PV: We have had an astounding amount of Neopians visiting
each day! I feel that we should rename the Lost Desert the "Found Desert"!
Tourism is beneficial to our economy, especially money-wise, but I kind
of miss the quiet refuge we had before. Money and attention is all well
and good, but I think most Sakhmetians prefer peace and quiet.
D: I agree with you! The Lost Desert shops sell out
so fast, and the streets are crowded with many Neopians! My next question
is, would you say that the Lost Desert has become a better place?
PV: It's certainly better than it was before. We have
not only a food shop now, but many games and a scroll shop!
D: I think that all of the Lost Desert and Sakhmet residents
miss King Coltzan greatly. How would you describe the job that he's done
in ruling the Lost Desert?
PV: I believe that before my father was made king, the
Lost Desert was a shapeless lump of clay. When my father was crowned king,
he took the land and molded it into the great place it is today. I hope
that, as Queen of the Lost Desert, I will be able to maintain the clay's
shape.
D: What do you think about the murder mystery that went
on last week?
PV: I must admit, I was appalled that the whole of Neopia
even CONSIDERED that I murdered my father, when it was that lousy Sankara!
Oh sure, I want to be queen, but I'd NEVER, EVER murder my wonderful father
just to get that!
D: Oh yes, the murderer was Princess Sankara. How do
you feel about her?
PV: Oh, don't get me started on her! I have had to live
with her since I was nine years old! That's ten full years of my life!
My father took her in to the palace, and then she murders him! How nice
is that?
D: Well, that's all of my questions! No, wait, I have
one more! Could you give me a Lost Desert Paintbrush?
PV: (laughs) In your dreams!
D: Thanks for coming, Princess Vyssa. Your time is appreciated.
PV: Anytime, Daissa.
D: This has been Daissa2000 reporting for the Neopian
Times.
