Mavena's Revenge: Part Two

Suddenly, The Beader saw Cloudie hiding behind a large table very close to her! She quickly looked away so Mavena wouldn't suspect anything.

"Well, I'll be off now! Got to go take over Neopia!" said Mavena in a cheerful mode, and she moved towards something that looked like an elevator and pressed a large green button that said "NP".

As soon as Mavena was gone, Cloudie rushed over to The Beader and was very excited to see her. The Beader carefully instructed Cloudie into turning the security beam that was around her chair off. Cloudie walked over to where Mavena seemed to have turned the security device on. There were tons of buttons, and Cloudie had to take her best guess on which one would turn the beam off.

OK, let's try this red one, thought Cloudie as she pushed the button. All of the sudden, the beam around the chair flickered until it completely shut off.

"YES! Cloudie, we're almost there!" said The Beader who was still stuck in the chair by the chains. Cloudie tugged and pulled on the chains but nothing would work.

She circled the large chair and saw a lever that she assumed would remove the chains from around the chair, but it was too high to reach! She jumped up and down but still, she was at least 2 feet away from the lever. Then, The Beader got an idea. She threw her legs down and Cloudie climbed on them, and then climbed up on the tall chair and was simply a few inches away from the lever. Trying hard to reach it, she jumped from the chair, and her paw hit the lever as she fell flat on the ground. The chains slid back and The Beader got up.

"Cloudie, are you OK?" asked The Beader.

"Yeah, let's go, Neopia is waiting for us to save the day!!" said excited Cloudie who was waiting for her chance at stardom and being known for the Kau that saved Neopia.

"Now we just have to get out of here, get back to Neopia, find Mavena and stop her evil attempts!" replied The Beader.

"Wow, what a day I'm gonna have!" said Cloudie with a laugh.

"Come on, over here!" yelled The Beader as she ran over to the elevator-like doors that Mavena had disappeared into.

She waited for Cloudie to catch up, and when she got there, The Beader pressed the large green "NP" button and before they could even think, they were in the "elevator" and zooming towards Neopia at the speed of light. Within seconds, they were there, exactly where they had started from, the Pizzaroo.

"OK, let's split up and try to find Mavena, if either of us find her, use the Neophone and call the other. If not, we'll meet back here in a half an hour. Got it?"

"You can count on me!" said Cloudie.
