"Hello everybody, and Welcome once again to Neopian Cuisine!
I'm your host, as always, Calianja the Acara! We have a nice treat for
you today. Dragonshark173 requested that we make Chia Pops today, so guess
what? We are! And today we are also going to make something opposite of
cold Chia Pops, hot Spicy Wings! For the wings you will need:
24 chicken Drummettes
4 tablespoons Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons Vinegar
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
OK, first of all, you want to preheat your oven to 400
degrees F(382 degrees C). Then you want to line a baking sheet with foil
and nonstick spray. While your oven is preheating, combine all your ingredients
in a bowl. Coat the chicken completely. Then lay them on the greased baking
sheet. Bake them for about 15-20 minutes or until the juices run clear.
Now, when we come back from the commercial break, I'll show you how to
make Chia Pops!"
AFTER COMMERCIAL BREAK....
"Hi everyone! Welcome back! Now, here we go, the recipe
for Chia Pops. You will need:
1 cup Crushed Ice
1/2 cup Sugar
1 package Drink Mix of your choice like lemonade, cherry, toenail soup,
etc....
1 cup Water
Crush your ice in a blender, or any other method if you
don't have a blender or an ice crusher. Add the rest of the ingredients
and mix well. Now, here's the tricky part. You're going to need some kind
of mold. You may use lollipop molds, candy molds, or just ice cube trays.
Spoon your mixture into your mold and freeze about an hour or until the
mixture is frozen solid. There you go! Enjoy your Chia Pops! Well, that's
all the time we have for today folks. I'd like to Thank Health Frog, The
Breadmaster, and Neopia Fresh Foods for their ingredient contributions.
And a very special Thank You to Dragonshark173 for her idea of making
Chia Pops! Join us next time when our scheduled guest for last week will
be here! I'll see you then on Neopian Cuisine. This is Calianja the Acara
saying Thank You and Good-bye!
Next week Neocuisine will be moving to its new home--the
Articles Section.
