NeoPet Health: A Quick Guide

by crystalre

Hello! As the title suggests, this is a short guide about how to keep your NeoPets happy and healthy. Perhaps at this point you are thinking: "I've heard all this hundreds of times." Even if you have, there is nothing wrong with hearing it again. In fact, it could only do good taking in someone else's opinion on the matter.

HAPPINESS~
A happy pet is a healthy pet, correct? First off, buy a single toy and play with each of your pets until they are "Delighted!". Then you can sell that toy in your shop. Every week or so, buy a new toy to play with your pet. After you buy a new one, you can sell this toy, as well.

CLEANLINESS~
Brush your pet everyday. Only let her wear make-up on special occasions, but even then you must wash it off at night with a towel and some soap. That's pretty much the basics, but you can still wash your pet's hair and give him/her a bath every month. If you bathe a NeoPet too often, his/her skin skin and coat will loose all of its natural oil.

NUTRITION~
Omelettes are a very healthy food (and they are cough*free*cough). Items such as these should be your pet's main food as they have many vitamins. Every few days give your pet a nice fruit or vegetable. This gives them a change of taste, yet still ensures that they have a healthy diet. It is all right to feed you pets treats, too. But sweets and fattening items should only be fed once a week. For example:

Sunday: omelette (healthy food)
Monday: fruit or vegetable (for a change of taste, still healthy)
Tuesday: slushy, smoothie, etc. (for sweet tooth, can be healthy)
Wednesday: omelette (healthy food)
Thursday: fruit or vegetable (for a change of taste, still healthy)
Friday: slushy, smoothie, etc. (for sweet tooth, can be healthy)
Saturday: chocolate, sweet, etc. (once a week treat)

Thank you for reading this, I hope it has helped you. If you have any questions or comments I would be more than happy to see some in my Neomail box. Later.
