The Upper Hand Leads to the NP!

by anudin

For many of you who are like me, you like to have the upper hand in a game. Or maybe you just need a little help getting some NP. Well, then this article is for you.

Nimmo's Pond
I found this game a little hard at first, but here are a few tips that helped me last longer in the game:
1) Figure out which weapon you want, and then eat only that type of fly. So if you want the rapid fire weapon, only eat green flies (plus the health flies and bomb flies, of course)
2) Stay away from the launcher flies, as the launcher is only short range (but if you prefer the launcher, I'm not telling you to stop using it)
3) Do not move around the pond, but just use the left/right keys to turn you in a lily pads direction
4) and finally, only use the bombs as a last resort if a lily pad is coming right at you and you don't have enough time to destroy it.

Kiko Match
This hint is small, but it may help you boost your winnings.
1) After each game, exit the window, then bring it back (by clicking on the "click here to play" button), and start a new game. This will help you because the time bonus does not reset each time you start a new game. So if after your first game the time bonus was 95, at the beginning of the next game your time bonus would be 95, instead of 200. Exiting the window then bringing it back will reset the time bonus back to 200.

Super Bullseye
I find this game to be much more rewarding than the regular Bullseye.
1) Set the dartapult angle to somewhere around 30, and then keep it there and don't mess with it for the rest of the game.
2) Follow these simple rules: the closer the target a less powerful shot--the farther away the target a more powerful shot--the higher the target a more powerful shot--the lower the target a less powerful shot
3) Adjust the power according to where the target is. So if when you start powering up the target is very close, but then moves away, just keep charging, don't just waste the shot and begin charging all over again

Ice Cream Factory
This game is very long, and easy (in the lower levels), which makes it somewhat sleepy at times, but if you manage to stay in for a long time the payoffs can be great.
1) Limit the number of + speed power-ups you pick up, because they carry into the next level you go into, which can make the harder levels that much harder
2) Only pick up the shrink power-ups, and no matter what, never pick up the grow power-ups (being big can make dodging ice-cream very hard)
3) Only pick up the speed power-ups in the later levels (it can take an hour to finish the first level if you slow the ice-cream down)

And always remember: if your score is very low, don't send in your score, or exit the game before the game has a chance to send in your score, because if you save your three times (to win NP) for times when you get a good score, you just get that many more NP.

I hope this article has helped you through those tough spots, and won you some major NP So get out there and win those games!
