Where Has It Gone?

One day, Sapphire the Uni and Emerald the Usul went picnicking at the forest in Neopia. They brought along some juicy fruits for their lunch. They were talking happily on the way and at noon, they had reached the middle of the forest.

"Let's eat, I'm hungry," Sapphire suggested.

"Good idea!" said Emerald.

They found a place with cozy grass under a tree shade and began to eat. While they were eating, they heard some strange noises.

"......no...not yet, we should wait till...." a voice said. Another voice replied.

"Did you say something?" Emerald asked.

"Nope, but I heard some voices."

Sapphire replied, "We should ignore it?!?"

"Yeah, I'm full and tired, maybe I'll take a nap," Emerald said with a sleepy tone.

"Now, do it," the mysterious voice said.

"OK," the other replied.

It was the Trick Brothers. They did something bad to them. After the sweet nap, they went to the nearby river for some refreshment. Then there was a loud scream.

"Oooooooh!" cried Emerald, "Sapphire, where is your horn?" Her voice shook. Sapphire looked at the reflection of herself of the river. To her surprise, her horn was gone! And she saw the green fur at Emerald's chest has gone, too.

"Why?" asked Sapphire. Her blue eyes were now red...she began to cry. Emerald didn't cry, she went to the path to collect some strangely colored mushrooms; and she dove into the river bed and picked some seaweed. She smashed them and divided it into two, gave one to Sapphire and one for herself.

"Eat it, maybe it will do," she told Sapphire.

They ate the mixture, but nothing happened, their missing parts didn't come back. Sapphire went sobbing bitterly, in her mind she was thinking that if her owner saw her without her beautiful horn, what may she do. She was afraid that her owner would not love her anymore. Emerald was calmer, she said, "Maybe we can pray to Faerie Queen, I believe she would know how to help us."

They prayed quietly. Then, a warm breeze went past them. They opened their eyes and saw an Air Faerie. The Air Faerie said softly to them and told them not to be afraid. "Come with me," the Air Faerie took out her wand and a magic carpet was immediately came out.

"Just step on the carpet," she said to the unhappy pets. They stepped onto the carpet and immediately the carpet rose to the mid air. It traveled through the setting sky. The residents of Neopia were now too small to be seen. Soon, they landed at a colorful hut near the Rainbow Pool. Three of them went into the hut. Inside, there were a lot of different paint brushes placed neatly inside a large cupboard.

The Air Faerie took out a Rainbow Paintbrush and a White Paintbrush and threw them into a pot. A new type of Paintbrush was made! "It is called the Paintbrush of Reverse. Your missing parts were being painted by the Invisible Paintbrush. So you couldn't see them. The Trick Brothers did it!"

The Air Faerie used the Reverse Paintbrush on the two. Immediately, their missing parts returned to sight. And the missing parts were different: Sapphire had got a Rainbow horn and Emerald's fur was also rainbow colored. Now, it was the punishment for the Trick Brothers.

"You did an evil thing, making these young pets scared and worried," The Air Faerie scolded. She took a Checkered Paintbrush and a Black Paintbrush and whispered some words with her wand. She used it on the Trick Brothers, and they looked..... oh so TERRIBLE!
