Now I have seen many, many, many people showing shop guides that promote
being fair with prices. This is the one for true shop keepers!
Ever since 100,000 and up became "unbuyable", I have seen
super Mega past 150 rarity rare items placed for 200,000 and then the
next person who gets one places it for 50,000!!! The rarity shop price
has dropped over 49,999 which makes it harder for people to sell them
for what they are worth! A real shop owner would look at the lowest shop
wizard price and then the second lowest and put the item somewhere in
between or around the third least expensive. That first lowest will be
bought and then yours will be next or the third! If you put it lower and
lower the people who put it in their shop first and had the lowest price
will not get the business.
If you see something placed at 200,000 NP and you want yours to be bought,
Put it in for 199,999 NP. If you see something placed for 99,999 NP and
no other people have that item place it for 99,999 NP. This will keep
rare items rare and keep the majority of people happy.
I will explain further about the last paragraph. Say you are poor (27
NP!) and you see a rare item selling for 99,999 NP. Later that week you
find one of them and you are so happy you got one and can finally catch
up in NP you put it in your shop and check the Shop Wizard again. When
you search it it shows it like this:
somebody |
something |
2,000 NP |
somebody2 |
something |
11,000 NP |
somebody3 |
something |
25,000 NP |
somebody4 |
something |
99,999 NP |
somebody5 |
something |
200,000 NP |
That poor person can now only sell it for 1,000 - 10,000 NP! They lost
the opportunity to make over 99,000 NP just because people like to reduce
the prices to make them sell quicker instead of slower and making more!!!!!
The poor...poor....poor person.
So please do not mark items down a lot if they are very rare. Make it
reasonable like maybe 200 NP under it or the same price or above if it
is popular! This happened to me once and it put me in the slumps for weeks!
I made this so that rare items stay rare and that people who get rare
items and wish to sell them make more money. So all you shopkeepers that
like to sell cheap cheap, think about this because you are reducing the
profit made by others and increasing the poor population. And all you
poor people, don't request super cheap items because that is what is making
you poorer.
