You Can't Judge a Guild By Its Members

Lots of people say that small guilds are less active than bigger guilds. Well some are and some aren't. Some big guilds never do any thing new but because they have a lot of members more people join. Don't get me wrong some big guild are cool and do a lot of stuff, but they don't usually have the time to hear what new members have to say. A lot of small guilds now do things for members because they don't have many members so they don't get noticed as well.

It can be very confusing by picking a guild to join because there is so many to chose from. Best thing to do is to sort out what type of guild you want to look for. You need to find a guild that deals with the subjects you like e.g. a TV program or book.

Try the search or just look through the guild welcome page. Ask the guild leader about their guild. If they have other members in it then ask them what it's like in the guild. Don't go for a guild just because it's big or small. Look at what happens in the guild. Don't just join because they give away free items when you join. Look at what it will be like in the guild. If you're looking for a less active guild join one. If you're looking for an active guild join an active guild. Remember if you don't like the guild you can always leave it any way.

Guild leader. The guild leader is one of the most busy people in the guild and they should have a lot to do with the guild. If they never visit the guild they probably just made it up and don't care about the guild. Remember if you have ideas on how the guild should be made better most leaders like to hear from people with new ideas on how to make the guild better. So...SPEAK UP! If you don't speak up, no one will hear what you think and nothing will be done.

Guild council. If you want to join a guild council go and apply. But make your application good. Don't just say I like this guild and I what to be on the guild council. Because they will not hire someone just because they say they want to be on the council. If you get picked, go to the guild at least once a weak to post a message and to see what's up. If you don't get picked don't just leave the guild, it's probably because you haven't been in the guild long enough. Try again later after you've posted a few ideas or get moved up. Nothing is free in Neopia...you have to earn it, baby.
