The Elusive Lesser-Spotted Meerca

There are rumors about a strange Meerca. This Meerca has come to be known as the Lesser-Spotted White Meerca. Ever since the first one has been seen strange things have happened all across Neopia. Crop Circles in the shape of a Meerca have appeared in corn fields. Strange voices have been heard chanting on nights of a full moon. PetPets everywhere are behaving in an abnormal way. Could all of these be trademarks of the Lesser-Spotted White Meerca?

The blue Shoyru Shoyrumer is of the first fey citizens to see this odd creature. He explains his close encounter as this: " I was enjoying my daily walk through the forest when a white blur passed in front of me. It hid behind a bush, and I could see it's black eyes peering at me. A strange feeling came over me when I met eye contact. It moved, and I saw its long white tail. Then it disappeared in a flurry of white."

Shoyrumer had taken a picture of the Meerca hiding behind the bush, but when the film was developed in place of the Meerca was a white glowing orb. The strange thing about this was the rest of the photo was perfectly focused.

Another pet named Safari Fire witnessed a stranger phenomenon. He saw a lesser-spotted white Meerca talking to a PetPet in Neopia. After the conversation, the pet pet waddled around singing "Meerca! Meerca!" with a dreamy look in it's eyes.

Igloma the white Acara saw another strange thing about this Meerca. There was a full moon in the sky when she saw about five of them in her field. When it was midnight the Meercas began to dance and chant "Meerca! Me- Meerca! Mo-Moooo!"

One minute later they quit and departed into the forest that was nearby. Igloma claims that "the Meercas were singing to the moon. They kept their eyes on it the whole time. I think they are from the moon and they were just singing to their home."

There were many more sightings of this Meerca. From these it is known that the Lesser-Spotted White Meerca have a shy and withdrawn manner, and when befriended are sweet and have a personality like that of a cat. The Lesser-Spotted White Meerca. A Meerca full of mysteries and strangeness. Who knows, maybe you may see one in the future.
