Only for Three Days: Part Two

J123 however, looked calm. "It's just a Swamp Ghoul! You haven't even met the Ghost Lion yet!"

All the pets screeched back at him, "Well, you're at level four! You were trained to deal with Ghouls, Ghosts, Spooks and monsters! We weren't!" J123 sighed.

"Uh huh, whatever you say."

"NPB did most of the work, If it wasn't for him, we would be toast!" said Magic_Love_.

"Yeah, well that's just because he has the most abilities," mumbled J123 quietly.

The pets walked deeper and deeper into the woods, meeting Forest Spooks on the way, but nothing else. They finally found a cave just big enough for the nine of them. "I'm starving!" Sreep complained as they all set up their sleeping quarters.

"Well then get something to eat, dummy!" said Robeta100.

Sreep took an Organic Red Apple out of his pack and ate it, stopping for some sips of pure, bottled water. "There!" said Kadina, stepping back to look at the place she had set up.

Most Korbats slept upside-down on ceilings or roofs, but not Kadina! She had set up her place in the corner. It had a big blue sleeping bag with an orange pillow and she had some food spread out on her bed. She had stuck some tacks and nails in the small holes in the wall and hung pictures of her family on them. She also hung a red bag with some books on a tack and balanced her Magic Torch on two.

"Whoa, cool!" said Robeta100. "That looks so cozy! Do you have anymore nails left?"

"Yep, lots of 'em!" said Kadina, handing her a really thick green sack.

The pets all made their sleeping areas look and feel cozy and comfortable and started eating. "MMMmmm, this is yummy!" said Rosina_, taking a big bite from a piece of Apple Pie.

"This is the best outing ever! I'm not bored at all!" said CK2000, between mouthfuls of Strawberries and Cream Baby Food.

"Why do you eat that? You're not a baby!" said Billacuss4.

"Yeah, but this is my favourite flavour of anything! I don't care if It's Baby Food, it is so yummy!"

"Whatever you say," said Billacuss4.

"I like Forest Fruit flavour," said NPB.

"I like Lemon Meringue!" said J123.

They all started talking about Baby Food and then they took a walk. They played with Choo Choo Trains and played Hide-and-go-Seek until it was getting dark out and they went inside the cave and played there, in the light of the Magic Torches.

They didn't stop playing until they were all really tired. (Not counting Sreep, who went to bed early, insisting that sleep will make him so much healthier then the rest of the pets and is very good for his body.) Some of the pets stayed up a little longer reading, like Kadina who was reading World Class Wockys and J123 who was reading Ch Ch Ch Chias.

The next day, they all got up and brushed their fur and groomed themselves. Robeta100 still had makeup in her backpack from when she played house with her friend in the Orphanage, so her and Rosina_ put Midnight eyeshadow on. They looked really cool.

"Well, what do you want to do today?" said Magic_Love_ happily.

"I dunno! We could go exploring, I guess. That'll be really awesome as long as we don't get lost!" said Billacuss4.

The other pets agreed. "I always come prepared for everything!" said CK2000.

"So you have something that will help us...um, not get lost?" said Robeta100.

"Nope, absolutely nothing," said CK2000, grinning.

"I have something!" said J123, pulling a compass out of his backpack.

"Wow! You know how to use one?" said Sreep.

"Er, not really..." replied J123.

NPB looked at him like he was a foolish little baby, shaking his head. "I know how to use one," he said.

"I hate it when someone is smarter than me!" said J123, handing him the compass.

"Well, let's get going!" said Kadina, flying in circles.

"Okay, but we better get some food and water," said NPB.

Now J123 was getting annoyed. "He always has to know absolutely everything," he said under his breath.

They all packed for the trip and set off. "Oh wow! This is so much better than staying at home playing and reading! I'm getting so much fresh air and exercising my legs!" said Sreep, taking a gulp of water.

"So you admit that we were right, saying that It would be fun?" said Magic_Love_.

She didn't hear his answer, she had thrown her backpack down and dived into a deep river.

Her head popped up after a few seconds. "AHHHHhhhh! How refreshing! I needed to swim again!" she said.

"Looks nice! How's the water?" said Robeta100.

"Great! It's very warm!" Magic_Love_ replied.

"I don't believe you," the furry glowing green Jubjub said.

She dipped her foot in the water. "Brrr! I'd hate to see your opinion of cold!" She waded a little and got used to the water. She jumped in. "Wow! This is-" she was going to say that it was fun to all the pets on shore.

But they weren't on shore, they were all laughing and splashing each other in the water already. Sreep was sitting on a big rock watching them. Rosina_ crept up behind him and pushed him.

"Hahahaha! You should have seen your eyes! They were as big as dinner plates! Hahahahahaha! I've never seen you look so silly!" she said. Everyone else laughed too, even Sreep himself.

"This is such a happy moment!" said Kadina, her furry head coming up from under the River. "We're all together, no worries! No one to push us around or tell us what to do! No responsibilities at all! Nothing bad happening!"

No one knew how much she was wrong, but they were going to find out...

They all dried off after a few hours of swimming and started talking about prophecies and math and algebra. "Huh? What? What's a prophecy? Algebra? What are you guys talking about?"Little CK2000 was younger than the rest of them and had no clue what the pets were talking about.

Rosina_ was happy, she wasn't used to being smarter than someone. She was always very smart so she skipped some grades. She was only 124 hours and at the same grade as the rest of them! Robeta100 was 347 hours. They were both level 2 with no abilities.

"A prophecy is-" Magic_Love_ started to tell CK2000 what a prophecy is when they heard a deep growl from behind them. "Auuuugggghhhhhhhhh! A-a-a g-g-g-g-ghost l-l-li-li-lion!" said CK2000, trembling from his furry head to his furry toes.

He wasn't the only one trembling. Magic_Love_ was very strong, fast and smart, but only level 1 with 3 abilities, so she was very frightened too.

Even J123 was scared! "AAAAHHHHHH!!!! No! I'm done cakes! The Ghost lion is going to finish me! Aaaaahhhhh!" said J123.

"I-I-I th-th-thought that you were experienced with Ghouls and ghosts!" yelled NPB.

"Now I have to do this by myself!"

He shot a water jet at the Ghost Lion, who had cornered Robeta100, who was throwing Magic Pebbles at him furiously. The pebbles held him back a little, but not enough...
