The Evil Scorchio and the Secret Lab

It was a rainy night in Neopia for Jinxxie, CrispyTrisket, Kirluca and Ainana. Their owner pepsi76 had gone out for a few hours to go and see if she could find the last of the secret lab map pieces. "Knock knock knock" went the door of the account.

All four girls ran to the speaker and screamed: "What's the password?!"

The person who had knocked punched in the code and the girls checked the code and it was right. They opened the door and saw that pepsi76 was there!

"You're finally back! What took you so long?" asked Jinxxie.

Pepsi76 panted and said, "Most of the stores that held the parts that I needed were shut. There was one store that held #7 piece that I needed but that was in Mystery Island so I had to come back and grab Ainana's gold bike and go as fast as I could!"

"Did you get the piece?" asked CrispyTrisket.

"Yes I did" pepsi76 panted.

"When can we go?" Chorused Jinxxie and Ainana together.

"Tomorrow morning," Pepsi76 panted.

"Yes!" shouted CripsyTrisket, Jinxxie, and Ainana.

"Kirluca why aren't you happy?" asked Jinxxie.

"I've heard stories about that place," she said in horror.

"What stories?" they all asked in unison. Even pepsi76 was interested.

"Well, when I was howling to the moon one night a Lupe howled back but it half sounded like a Shoyru. The Lupe said that the lab transformed it into a Lupe."

Jinxxie, CrispyTrisket and Ainana looked at each other. Pepsi76 said in concern: "Oh those are just stories. You don't really believe that now do you Kirluca?"

"Well yes... I..."

"Never mind. Come on all of you go up to bed and get a good night's sleep. We have to travel up to the games center tomorrow," said pepsi76.

"Yes mom," said Jinxxie. She yawned, gave pepsi76 a kiss good night and followed Kirluca up to bed.

The next day pepsi76 came rushing up to their rooms yanked open the curtains and said, "Wake up! It's the lab day today!!" She had a huge smile on her face. The girls rubbed their eyes and then Ainana shouted:

"Oh yeah!! C'mon you guys wake up!"

She quickly pulled on a sweater then ran down to the kitchen. CrispyTrisket, and Jinxxie yanked on sweaters and some shoes then ran to the kitchen too. Kirluca did the same but she was much slower. In the kitchen the girls stuffed cereal and apples in their mouths then shouted, "Come on pepsi76! Hurry up!"

"Wait you guys think okay. It's a long walk so we have to pack a lunch. Jinxxie grab some apples from the refrigerator and some turkey dinners for you all then pack it in the basket we have."

"Okay!"

After they all had some breakfast and packed a lunch they went outside. It was a sunny day. Nothing like the night before. They started to walk. After a few hours they had to stop because they were all hungry. They unpacked their lunch and started to eat the turkey dinners that Jinxxie had stuffed in the basket. After they had all eaten they started to walk again. It was hard because they had to climb up a tall mountain just to get there.

"We should have taken the train," complained Ainana.

The walk started to get harder. When they finally got to the top of the mountain they would have to go through a huge maze to get to where they wanted to go. They walked and walked and CrispyTrisket collapsed. They helped her up and started to walk again. They got to a metal door and knocked then they all shouted, "Is this the secret lab?"

A funny looking Scorchio opened the huge door and said, "Yes this is the secret lab..." he eyed them suspiciously.

"We have all of the map pieces and we want to try the ray," said pepsi76.

"Oh. Okay come on in," said the Scorchio.

They went inside and they found a huge lab full of potions. "Now if anything happens that you don't like then I have a few morphing potions on sale."

"Oh I knew I forgot something!!!" cried pepsi76. She had forgotten NP. "Well we better hope for the best."

The Scorchio said in a croaky voice, "All right, well, only one of your NeoPets can go to the ray so chose which one you want to go," he instructed.

"Well... Kirluca do you want to go?"

Kirluca's eyes widened and then said, "No!! Never in my life!!!"

"Aww c'mon Kirluca. You're supposed to teach us not to be afraid," whined Jinxxie.

"Okay all right then," said Kirluca in a worried voice.

"All right then follow me young lady and I will take you to the ray," said the Scorchio in a croaky voice.

He took her to another room. In there was a huge gun. It was bigger than the one Kirluca used to play the dart game with CrispyTrisket.

"All right now just stand on that X and close your eyes."

Kirluca went over. She was shaking everywhere. She was about to burst out crying. The Scorchio went over to the huge gun and pressed a couple buttons. Then he screamed, "NOW!!!!" Kirluca felt this tingly feeling going all through her body. It seemed like she was being electrocuted! She fell to the floor. She couldn't bare it anymore. She had fainted.

When she woke up she was in her bed at home. She looked around. Pepsi76 was over in the corner crying. She got out of bed then sat by her owner and asked, "What's wrong Mom?" Pepsi76 looked up, then grabbed Kirluca by the neck and shouted, "You're alive!! I thought you were a goner!!"

All of a sudden there was a stampede coming from the hallway. CrispyTrisket, Jinxxie and Ainana ran into the room and started crying and hugging and kissing Kirluca. Kirluca finally stood up and noticed that she was painted green. She started screaming at pepsi76 telling her that she didn't want to be painted green. Then pepsi76 stood up too and started crying then when she finally calmed down she said, "The lab did it. The lab ray gun turned you into a horrible green. I know it look terrible. And right before your wedding." Then she burst out crying.

Kirluca sat down by pepsi76, then said, "I'm sorry."

They all started crying but soon calmed down. Later that night a lady in a hippie outfit said, "Pepsi76! I heard about Kirluca so I decided to give you this."

She gave pepsi76 this rather big package and said, "Let Kirluca open it." Pepsi76 handed the package to Kirluca. Kirluca unwrapped the present hastily then gasped and said, "It's a white paintbrush!!!!!!"

She went up to the lady hugged her then said, "Pepsi76 can we have this kind lady over for supper?"

"Sure we can Kirluca!"

"Mommy who is this lady?" said Jinxxie.

"Well it's savour_gurl!"

Jinxxie gasped then said, "If I ever get a bad colour from the lab will you buy me a new paintbrush?"

"Savour_gurl laughed then said, "Sure!!"
