So, you've been in Neopia for a while. Have you tried exploring around
in the fabulous foreign worlds? If you haven't yet, you really must check
them out! Let me tell you about some of the fascinating tourist attractions
in these worlds that just might convince you to visit them!
Mystery Island
Aren't you tired of feeding your pets the plain, old cheeseburgers and
the monotonous red apples? Well, why not bring a chocolate ice cream and
a purple negg to the Cooking Pot and create a delicious Punegg? That's
right! On the Mystery Island lives the Great Pango Pango and Jhuidah the
Island Faerie. If you offer them the right combination of items, they'll
grant you something new and interesting. So why only keep a Triffin while
you could obtain a wiser and cuter Blooky? Visit the Cooking Pot today!
Maraqua
Oh! Here is another recipe! The chef in the kitchen at the sunken city
of Maraqua works constantly to prepare meals for the demanding Royal Family.
Seeing that she is so busy, why don't you help her once in a while? Simply
fetch a few food items for her, and your task is complete! Warning! Some
items she asks aren't so common and easy to find. If you finish a quest,
you might be granted something very rare and special. Sometimes your pet's
stats will rise, but occasionally, you'll discover the quests to be a
rip off!
Spooky Woods
"Mortal, I need your help!" quoth a scary-looking creature which lies
in the centre of the Spooky Woods. With no doubt, this must be the Brain
Tree, who always thirsts for knowledge. If you help him fetch the information
he inquires, you'll be rewarded greatly. It is said that all the rewards
are of rarity 120, which is very rare indeed. Be warned! The quests are
extremely hard! Only from a beast that lives under the grounds of the
Spooky Woods will you find the answers to his questions. Whatever it is,
you never know till you try!
Space Station
How about adopting a Grundo from the Space Adoption Centre? Don't be fooled
by the introduction at the Adoption Centre. Although the Grundos were
once slaves of the putrid Dr. Sloth, they can be wonderful pets if you
treat them correctly. Their appearances may be unpleasant, but that doesn't
mean they have a cruel personality. So if you have spare time, why not
pay a visit? You may even end up adopting one of these adorable pets!
Ice Caves
A bone-chilling wind blows past ferociously as you enter the bleak cavern
situated in the Ice Caves, and a massive worm made out of ice appears.
This must be none other than the unpredictable Snowager. How about sneaking
in and stealing one of the eye-catching treasures that surround him? Beware!
Only do so when he's asleep! Uh-oh! When does this Snowager sleep? It
might be now, or maybe later. Who knows? Again, you must be careful. You
may leave with something extremely rare and valuable, or you may stumble
away...
Terror Mountain
It is rumoured that the Ski Lodge on the Terror Mountain is haunted, yet,
the Neopets staff decided to stay there for a few weeks. Unfortunately,
weird things started happening. One murder occurred after another, and
the murderer still remains mysterious. It is up to you to solve this puzzling
enigma by observing clues, asking the characters various intelligent questions,
and using your own logic. How good a detective are you?
Faerieland
You just visited the Snowager, and, guess what? You were left with 0HP!
What can you do? Don't worry. The Faerie Springs does the trick. The friendly
Water Faerie who guards the Faerie Springs is able to heal your pet every
30 minutes or so. Sometimes, your pet will be completely healed, but sometimes,
you'll regain 8 or 5 hit points, or even only 1! Also, she might give
you different kinds of healing potions for FREE! So when you visit Faerieland,
why not drop in and refresh yourself? Remember to say thanks!
Faerie City
For now, we only await the Employment Agency, but as far as I know, something
is hidden in the city where a great amount of treasures are kept. I wonder
where it is...
Tyrannia
Tyrannia is the newest world discovered. So far, little is known about
this hidden land. Looks interesting though, so why not keep checking it
out? That's all I have to say about the foreign worlds of Neopia. Visiting
them is a pleasure, so why not do so now?
