Finding it hard to get Neopoints? Hard to get items? Well, worry no more!
Sure, you may be thinking, "Oh, it's not hard. We get all those free items
like the speakers and the booster packs and those extra Neopoints from
the sponsors!" Well, that is true. But if you're a newbie to NeoPets,
you need to know the facts.
Beginning Tips:
When you sign up to NeoPets you get 500 NP to start. Pretty good for beginning!
Then, you get 50 NP for creating your pet. So, if you get 4 pets, you've
already got 700 NP already! After each pet you create, you will see a
screen that says get 500 NP for signing up with our sponsors Well, you
may think as a newbie, "Yeah! 500 NP more!" But to let you in on a little
secret, it used to be 1750 NP! Yes, that's right, NeoPets has decreased
the amount of NP you get for signing up with sponsors
Shop Tips:
If you do create 4 pets and sign up with all the sponsors, you have about
1200 NP Now, if you go to create a bank account, you'll get 30 NP more.
Then, if you want, you can go make a shop. Although, it will cost you
250 NP, leaving you with 980 NP If you want to make your shop bigger,
it will cost you 50 NP at first. Every time you update your shop it will
throw on 50 NP more to update it. One great tip for shops: only make it
about size 1-10. Put in as many items as you can or want to, wait till
they sell, and put more in!
More Shop Tips:
When you get a rare or new item that you want to sell, don't put it in
your shop right away. First, go to the shop wizard and see how much everyone
is selling it! Put it around the lowest price you see for it to sell quickly.
Item Tips:
Never hold on to a rare item too long! If you win/get/buy a rare item,
don't hold on to it too long trying to decide what to do with it. Decide
if you want to sell it, trade it, auction it, or use it. If you wait a
long time, your item's worth will most likely go down. Trust me, it's
happened to me! I had a very rare item, and I couldn't decide if I should
sell it or use it. After weeks I finally decided to sell it. I always
go to the wizard to see what it's worth. When I got there, it's price
had decreased about 3000 NP! Make sure this doesn't happen to you!
Extra Tips:
If you ever go to the Chat Room and ever see an ad to get 1,000,000 NP,
don't click on it. Most likely it will say, "Go to this site and you can
become a millionaire!" Go ahead and check out the site. But if it says
anything about needing your NeoPet password, don't use it! It's a scam.
People will hack into your account and steal your NP and items! Also,
never do any trading without using the trading post. Don't play with fire;
you may lose your item and/or valuable account information.
Another great NP making tip is joining a guild that either helps out
poor people, or gives you great tips on how to make NP the fair and honest
way!
Game Tips:
Never play any luck games! You will most likely lose your NP! The best
games to play are Kiko Match and Lenny Trivia. They'll rack up the points
in no time!
