On my way back to my bedroom, I heard a loud banging sound. I followed it to Sloth's bedroom. When I went inside, the room was empty. The sound had come from an open window, which the wind was blowing, open and closed. In the corner, back in his original position - a silver-plated ball - slept Sloth.

Above him was a large green button. "Faerie Power Generator" it read. I was overwhelmed with happiness that I forgot why I was there. Finally, I was able to reach high enough and press the button without disturbing Sloth. I silently stepped out of his room. The station seemed deserted, every Grundo and robot asleep. I went back to the room where the Faeries were being held. "You've saved us!" shouted the Queen.

"The Generator was in Sloth's room. I don't think I woke him."

"Wonderful! Now, please, let me disable the alarm. The Faerie Queen did a strange dance inside the cage, and recited a spell. "Flamamoos, glamma! Shanni si-ha!" Suddenly, the cage opened and the Faeries flew out.

"Oh, wonderful! Hurry, destroy the Space station before Sloth destroys the Neopians!" shouted the Earth Faerie.

"But what about the robot? She saved us," said the Air Faerie.

"I'll cast a spell to send her back to Neopia," said the Light Faerie.

"Can you give me my normal body back first?" I asked.

"Just press the button on your foot, darling," responded the Light Faerie.

However, before I could reach the button, I was flying through space, headed towards Neopia. I was flying. The feeling was incredible....

***

Around me were billions of stars. They were beautiful. But my smile quickly faded. LiliaLu had loved the stars. She named each constellation every night. A tear fell from my eye. I dried it with my metallic paw. As I flew through space, I reached for my foot. I was just able to reach the button. Suddenly, I could feel my armor shedding, as I watched it fly though space.

"Please be all right, LiliaLu. Please," I whispered.

The perilous journey finally came to end later in the evening. I found myself asleep in the bed at the Lodge on Terror Mountain. LiliaLu was sleeping. When we awoke, we went downstairs. I imagined that I had traveled through a loophole, back through time. Once LiliaLu and I had paid the bill, the Bellhop handed us our backpack.

"Good-day, ladies," he said. "Good-day."

As we headed towards the edge of the mountain, LiliaLu asked, "Should we go to the owner of the auction house when we get home?"

"Can you wait here a moment? I need to do something."

LiliaLu nodded, as I took the backpack with me to the Garage Sale. When I was inside, I asked the cashier if I could return the thing.

"I'm afraid not, ma'am. No refunds," he said, pointing to the sign.

"Do you have a hammer?" I asked.

"No, ma'am." I nodded and left. I walked towards the edge of the cliff, and said good-bye to Dr. Sloth.

"Neopia isn't really that bad… once you get to know it. Sure things are expensive, and the food isn't that good. Sure the Money Tree is always empty before I can get there, and sure the Ghosts are always stealing the donations. But it's not that bad of a place to live."
