The Lesson Learned

by heeheetree12

Hello, my name is sweetkiss22 and I am a Disco Kau. But I used to be just a regular red Kau. When my owner first started out she created me as her first and only pet and I still remain that pet. I went through some pretty rough times with my owner before I got changed into a Disco Kau. There was one time that a remember really well and I'm going to tell my story...

"Sweetkiss," called my owner one morning, "Hurry and wake up...we have a busy day today."

I got up and went to go eat my breakfast of some Orange Juice, an Organic Carrot (I'm a vegetarian) and some Faerie Toast With Butter. My owner didn't have much money so the Faerie Toast was a really nice treat. My owner and I both new what was coming. It was my first day of Neoschool! I was so excited that I had a hard time drinking my Orange Juice. When I finally finished my breakfast I went to go get my things. My owner packed me a lunch of an Organic Green Apple, some Kubungles (my favorite food) and for a treat a Dark Chocolate Bruce. She also let me know that for the first day we all had to bring a special toy for show and tell. I told her I wanted to bring Huggamonster my pet Huggy but she told me he would get too hyper and gave me a Blue Yarn Ball instead.

As I got onto the bus some pets were staring at me as if I was lower than them. Most of the pets were painted colors like spotted or something else. I walked down the aisle and sat in a empty seat. While we were driving, more and more pets were getting on and the more and more I felt like I was too boring and plain. When the bus was almost full and no one was sitting next to me still I was feeling really sad. Then at the last stop a young Aisha also just starting came and sat down next to me she was a cloud Aisha and looked so beautiful. When we first got to school I asked if I could hang around with her and her friends. They just all looked at me with disgust and looked away. I was told not to say anything mean so I just turned around and walked away. While I was walking a little yellow Bruce also my age came up to me and she said, "Hello, I will be your friend if you want." She was so nice I decided that she had to be a good friend. The rest of the school day went pretty well for me and my new friend Kilara.

There was the time when it was show and tell and all the snobby kids laughed when Kilara brought up a Ripped Chia Doll as her toy. But I just told her that it didn't matter if THEY laughed at her because they were all snobs. On the way back home I was surprised to find that Kilara lived really close to me. I told her that maybe I could come over someday.

When I got home I was in for a surprise from my owner. She had won some Neopoints from the lottery and she had bought me a Disco Paintbrush!!! We took a trip to the Rainbow Pool and I got coloured! On the way home my owner also signed me up for a course on Mystery Island. I was going to go study Level! After the course was over and I was a new Disco Kau now level 2. I went home and had a late supper of a few Vegetarian Sea Tacos. Then I went to bed imagining what school would be like tomorrow.

I woke up the next morning by my pet jumping up and down on my bed. My owner also informed me that she had gone out early this morning and bought me a Happiness Negg! I couldn't have gotten more happy. My life was going great. But when I got to school I sat down in my desk and all the pets stared at me. I was cooler than they were now. And the Cloud Aisha I had seen before even offered to hang around with me but I told them that I didn't like hanging around with pets that judged other pets by the way they look. I may have been embarrassed that first day of school but it was also a good thing. I picked the right friends and learned a valuable lesson. I am still a Disco Kau but I'm now level 8 and have lots of friends.

My owner is thinking of adopting a pet but she thinks it will be harder to take care of. I don't mind if she does because I know that I can never be replaced.

The End
