Silver and Golden, Lupes to Remember: Part Three

Faerieland

During the next two days, they decided to stock up on supplies. Silver and Golden went to the market to find some food while Sam went to get batteries for her flashlight, snow things, since they probably wouldn't be able to get some later, for Terror Mountain, and other little odds and ends.

On the day they were leaving for Faerieland, they packed up all their things and left for the airport. "Three tickets to Faerieland please," said Sam for the second time to the ticket man.

"Got a Faerie Totem?" the man asked. "Yes, right here," replied Sam as she gave the man the totem.

"All right then, in 20 minutes your plane leaves," said the man happily.

They decided to scope out the shops in the airport while they waited. 15 minutes later, a voice from the loud speaker said, "Five minutes until the Faerieland plane leaves!"

"We'd better get going," said Silver. They walked up the ramp onto the plane.

"I'm bored!" sighed Golden. She looked longingly at the ground far below. Then the loud speaker voice said again, "All passengers, please get up and walk to the ramp. We have reached Faerieland."

They got up and walked down the ramp to a new world. The air was clearer and sweet smelling. It was very bright and in front of them was a cloud land. It was amazing...spectacular...it was...Faerieland.

"Oh, wow!" said Golden. "This is so cool!! Where can we go first?"

"How about we get a map and see what there is," said Sam as they came closer to the gates. They met a Fire Faerie there who gave them a map of the city.

"Thanks!" called Sam over her shoulder. "I want to go to the Faerie PetPet shop," said Silver.

"Yeah, please?" asked Golden."

"Well, all right," said Sam.

"But if you want one, it has to be inexpensive."

"Yeah!!" So they set off to the shop.

The shop was so cool! The pets were so cute! They bought a Floud and a Magaral. "Where to......" Golden began but never finished.

All of a sudden, a blueish kind of glow appeared in front of them. Then slowly, a shape came into focus.

"It's the.....it's the......it's the Uber Water Faerie!" said Golden.

She said this with deep admiration for the Uber Water Faerie was her favourite Uber Faerie.

"Er.....hello your ma'm," said Sam.

"Hello, Sam," replied the Water Faerie.

"Hello Silver, Golden."

"H-h-h-hello!" said Golden with some difficulty.

Her voice didn't seem to want to work. "I know this may be rude, but I'm in somewhat of a hurry and you’re the only ones who can help me," said the Water Faerie.

"My real name is Queen Aqua so you needn’t call me Uber Water Faerie. "I need you to find me my necklace."

"Y-y-your necklace?" asked Golden.

"Yes," said Queen Aqua.

"The Dark Faeries are starting to get out of hand again and they’ve stolen my necklace. You’re the only ones who can find it."

"Us?" said Sam.

"Yes, you," replied Queen Aqua. She turned to the two lupes. "Did you ever wonder why you two are the only gold and silver Lupes?"

"Uhh...not really. But everybody thought I was strange," said Silver in a puzzled voice.

"Well, it's because all the Uber Faeries blessed you to become the most special lupes," Queen Aqua answered.

"Oh....my!" said Golden.

"Yes, indeed. Now, the necklace. It is located in a box in the Uber Dark Faerie's domain. It looks old and worn but it will glow brightly," said Queen Aqua.

"I will give you this, Silver, to help you get the necklace." She gave Silver a blue collar with a little button on it. "It will blast solid objects out of your path."

Then the queen turned to Golden. "And you will have this." She handed Golden a bottle of blue powder.

"It will transport you back here once you have the necklace. And to you, Sam, you shall have these."

She magically made a pair of faerie wings appear on Sam.

"Now, try your hardest and you shall be rewarded."

And with that, she disappeared. Then, Golden, Silver, and Sam found themselves in front of a dark castle...
