Cheese omelette (expensive) - was marked down for the price, and then back up a little because you can eat it multiple times.

Apple (cheap) - was marked up because of its cheapness, and it is so cheap, you can afford to buy as many as you like to make your pet bloated!

Broccoli (cheap) - marked up because of cheapness, although it isn't as cheap as the apple, it is still affordable.

Water (cheap) - marked up for cheapness, and nourishes your pet's thirst.

Fish pops (expensive) - marked down because of the price, and is really no different than any other food, but it's flashy and more expensive. (Your pet might not always like it)

Lemon Chia pop (cheap) - you can get these anywhere. Marked way up because of cheapness, and is delightful for your pet to eat, especially on a warm day!

Dark chocolate (expensive) - marked down because it is really expensive, although it is chocolate, I think it is ridiculous to buy chocolate that is that expensive.

Neggs (expensive) - marked down because of price, but some of them help your pets in the Battledome. I suggest that it is cheaper to go to the healing springs and get healed or buy a potion, rather than waste NP on Neggs.
