Now that it has been revealed that Maverick murdered
those poor people, I have put together some clues about how I, and many
other people, knew it was him.
1) In round 14, this question was asked:
Hi Maverick! I hear you are looking forward to a nice
vacation. What do you plan on doing for vacation?
Maverick Answers: I'm planning to just get away from
things and kill some time.
EXCUSE ME? KILL SOME TIME??? How about kill some people…
2) In round 3, Cookie's murder, a pair of glasses were
found. Although Cookie DID wear glasses, these were semi-square framed.
The kind Maverick wore. Cookie wore round framed. A round of questions
pointed this out, although the person thought that the glasses were completely
square framed, and asked Mister Shankly.
3) A question asked in round 20 also gave me suspicions.
Question: OK Maverick, listen up. If you're so rich in
The Stock Market, you would be able to afford servants. Lots of them.
So why the heck would you be in the kitchen actually DOING something when
you could send a servant?
Answer: I'm far too tight to waste money on servants!
You can only get rich by not spending anything... besides, I like cutting
things up in the kitchen.
Cutting things up in the kitchen? Creepy...
4) Another weird answer... Question: You seem to have
disappeared from the scene lately. What is it exactly that you've been
doing?
Answer: Ho hum, just been keeping to myself... wouldn't
want to go getting people excited or anything now.
He says this like he thinks people might suspect... Hmmm...
5) Yet another clue. During the Big
Spender's tragic demise, only Maverick was doing anything suspicious
at the counter. What was with all the blood splatter? Eww...
6) Did anyone else notice that one of Maverick's eyes
was open while #6 lifted the top of the platter, revealing Mister Shankly's
head? Perhaps he wanted to see his handiwork...
Those were the main clues to me. I only put them together
in round 25. I hope you figured it out sooner :)
P.S. Another way I figured it out was a) #6 was just
too cute to be a killer b) The Beader would have been too obvious, plus,
no woman would ever kill Mr. Ro-boto, Mister Shankly, and Mr. Black, and
leave Maverick. c) Maverick just looks the part of a murderer.
