Super NeoPets!

by RumorHasIt

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No... it's SUPER NeoPet!

We've all seen those pets around; the ones with levels too high to count. They're super strong, super fast, and as smart as they come. To top everything off they're painted with some rare paintbrush, and have only the most expensive pet pet. These pets are at the top - who wouldn't love a pet like that? Yes, these levels are achievable, but there are some solutions to help you out, and make it easier on your bank account.

So, you're asking, how can I get one of these 'Superpets' for myself? Maybe you don't have enough Neopoints to go out and buy oodles of codestones, but there is a way to help. Here are a few tips to help make your NeoPet the best it can be, using what is readily available to you.

-Nobody likes to be called dumb! You can easily, and affordably increase your pets intelligence to amazing heights by buying books. They are easy to find, and many of them very affordable.

-You can increase both your pets intelligence & speed when playing games like Poogle Solitaire (and pick up some handy NP while you're at it!). My own Peophin went from being slow to lightning fast JUST by playing games!

-Faerie Quests can be very helpful in raising stats. Unfortunately, they only seem to raise the level of one pet (no matter which pet I have selected, they always bless my Blumaroo).

-Other quests (e.g. Kitchen Quest) can also help your pet to gain levels, or give them increased stats. It doesn't happen every time, but I have had happen on several occasions.

-If you want to paint your pet do price research in all of the options (e.g. morphing potions, magical plushies, etc.) I know for a while, it was cheaper to buy a Faerie Usul morphing potion then to buy a Faerie Paintbrush; this was a great deal for Usul owners who wanted Faerie pets.

-Adopt a pet from the pound! I've seen pets around level 25 in there, with great stats. It may not be an uncountable level yet, but you've got a head start! Even though the total to buy a pet like this may look a little high, it's nothing compared to what you may have to spend to get this pet using codestones, etc.

These are just a few simple tips for raising stats, but to get to the point, why? Maybe you're in to the Battledome, BIG TIME! Beating other pets and battling is important to you. Then maybe a top-level pet is exactly what you need, but maybe you should take a second look.

If you get in with the big-league pets, that's going to cost you even more. Chances are, those who have Superpets also have 'super-bank-accounts', which no doubt will give them plenty of the top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art weapons. These things can set you back big time! You can be just as happy with your faithful little frost cannon, and a moderate level pet, and you can even win! Doesn't it demonstrate your skills if you can beat someone you own level, even if it's only level 1?

Are you perfect? Are you better then everyone else? Well, chances are that you aren't; you're most likely a typical human being. Nobody expects you to be perfect, or the best at everything, so why should you expect your pet to be? If you aren't going to be doing a lot of battling, why spend tons of NP on it? Chances are you'd rather have your parent buy you lots of cool things rather then pressure you to become great at what they decide, and your NeoPet may feel that way too.

So, you see, Superpets can be a lot of fun, but are not really necessary. You can do just as well without one. Think of all the money you're saving! Be happy with your pet for who they are, not the levels of skills they posses. And remember, even the top pets started out at level one!
