Magic and Sorcery

One day, two boys were traveling down a road. The boys were best friends. I am Danny Lam or Dannylam4 and my friend is Peter Hong or Trueasain101. I have 4 pets, Devilshou the Lupe, Dragowings4 the Scorchio, Devildog5 the Lupe, and Simplythebestever the Shoyru and Peter has one, Meerca131 the Meerca. We were going to the big celebration thing in the Battledome. It was weird, my other NeoPet friends had never heard of it before and it wasn't in the calender but we went along with it and if someone wanted to steal our accounts, they would have to take us down. We heard fireworks and saw flashes in the skys. We ran to go watch the fireworks along with everyone else. We walked into the Battledome. There were a bunch of people and NeoPets sitting on the blechers. We went and sat down.

"Ladies, gentelmen, NeoPets of all kind, I would like to present here tonight with me...lemonade_2000!!!!" a man with a microphone said. He was in the of the stage. Then a boy, about the age of 8 or 9 walked through the doors. He waved. The crowd was cheering.

"Now, who will challenge lemonade_2000?" a girl said. She was standing next to the other person.

"I will!!!" I yelled. The people started to cheer. My NeoPets got up and then we jumped off the bleachers. Peter followed me down. We looked at his pet. It was a mutated NeoPet. I looked at how much HP he had. I didn't want this to be an unfair match. I used my Simplythebestever. He was one of my less stronger pets. We started with our Mad Clock. The time got warped and his scecher got hit. He used his magical pebbles and a bunch of rocks hit Simplythebestever. Simplythebestever bent down into a ball like form. I taught him that. The pebbles were less painful. Simplythebestever flew into the air and dived down onto scecher. Scecher fell to the floor. He got back up and Simplythebestever tried to dive again but scecher ducked and lifted up his tail and threw a snowball. The snowball hit Simplythebestever and his spiked tail hit him too. Simplythebestever fell on the floor. His wings were cut. Then the crowd got ugly, literally. We turned around. A wizard was turning all the people into mutant chias and other mutant things. The wizard turned to us and then shot out a beam and hit my Devilshou. His fur (he was a Lupe) turned into scales. He was turned into a Mutant Techno!! I ran to Devilshou and then grabbed him. Then I used my powers that I got from my last story (A Cure For a Bad Case of Frostbite). I teleported us into my home which looked like a dojo mixed with the training school on Mystery Island. I had teleported the only people who weren't effected by the wizard and my Lupe/Techno. Lemonade_2000, Peter and their pets were there along with mine. I walked up to lemonade_2000.

"Hi, my name screen name is Dannylam4 but call me Dan," I said.

"Name's Richard," he said. He shook my hand.

"I'm Trueasian101 but call me Peter," Peter said. They shook hands.

"Well, I teleported us here to get down to buisness," I said. "This wizard is probably one of Dr. Sloths robots, slaves, or experiments but we cannot just guess. I brought us here because my house is well equiped with weapons. We will equip here but the wizard will be out to get us and everyone else. Peter, go get the special items." I looked over to Peter. He nodded. He walked into the back. I led Richard into the corner where there were glass cabinet. I had my collection of swords there and some other weapons. I opened the cabinet.

"Take one, these weapons are all specially crafted by me and I added a bit a magic to them all," I said. He reached inside and grabbed the smallest sized sword. He looked at it in the light. I looked at him and then saw that he was about the age of eight or nine. I reached in and grabbed my sword, the biggest of them. Richard walked back.

"You said there was some magic inside this. I don't see anything special," he said. I took it back and looked at it. I moved my hand againts the blade and then a little cut out appeared.

"You have the Wind sword. It can make hurricanes, control the air, and other things. Mine is th Ice sword and Peter will receive the Fire sword," I said. I turned around and Peter walked through the door. He was holding a bunch of books. Then one dropped to the floor and opened. A bright light flashed at Peter. It showered him in bright sparks and then disappered. I walked over to him and lifted the books. I dropped them down onto the floor and looked at the book that opened.

"Congrats Pete, you now have Psychic powers level one so that means you can read minds and do levitation," I said. Richard looked at me as if I was nuts. I grabbed a book and then placed on my sun glasses. I opened up the book and then a bright red light flashed at me. I was now able to create solid light images that can be shaped into anything I could imagine thru my hands. I lifted up another book. I opened it up and instead of light, it had ordinary words. I used a spell. It was a spell that would be able to pick the power Richard should get. It was like a search. Then a bunch of books floated around him and then they all fell except for one. It fell to the floor and opened up. A bunch of green lights went around him. He got the Fire power. He sort of caught on fire but he didn't feel the flames but my house was catching on fire. Then I made a hydran through my hands and shot water all over the place. Peter used his mental powers and taught Richard how to use his powers. Then we heard a loud bang in the back and a bunch of screams. The wizard was in my neighbourhood. We ran to the window.

"AHHHHHHHH! My pet!!" I heard someone scream. It was coming from my neighbours. I had made good friends with them and my house was the biggest one there. I used it to help people out when they had problems but this was one problem I couldn't solve without wasting a bunch of nps. I heard a knock on the door. I ran and slid the door open. It was some Mutated pets.

"Danny, help me!! Why are we like this, we are not pets!!" The voice screamed. I looked at the Mutant Chia closely and looked into the eyes. It was Angelbaby4040!! She helped me out on my last adventure.

"Oh god!! Don't worry, I will get a cure," I said. I looked over at the others.

"Let's go, we can take them on," Peter said. He slid hi sword into a case. I grabbed a sword case and threw it at Richard.

"I hope you're coming," I said to Richard.

"Of course I am. I'm not gonna miss the biggest thing to hit Neopia since those crazy dolls," he said. He attached the case to his belt buckle and then slid the sword in. I stuck mine into my case. I looked over at my pets.

"Come on, Armor on," I said. I snapped my fingers and then armor sprung up on them. They were metal suit like things. I looked over at Peter's Meerca and Richard's pets and they armor appeared on them. They looked at their brand new armor. Then I saw a flash of light outside the window. I quickly ran outside. All the mutants and the wizard was gone. I ran back into the house. Angelbaby4040 and her NeoPet was gone too. Luckily, Devilshou had his armor on and wasn't taken away. We all went back outside. The place seemed empty.

"I wonder why they didn't check your house?" Robert said to me.

"I have a magical seal around the house. Nothing truly evil can enter the house or even see it," I responded.

"What about Angelbaby and her NeoPet? They are Mutant Chais."

"Even if they are ugly or mutated doesn't mean their evil." I walked over to a pile of smoke. I thought it was where the wizard last stood. There was a powder of dust.

"It looks like he burst into flames or something," Peter said. I touched the powder and rubbed it in my fingers.

"No, this isn't ordinary dust, it's magic dust. I think its from Faerie Land," I said. I lifted a small amount of Magical Dust.

"What are you doing now," Richard said.

"You guys, repeat with me. Magic Dust hear my call, teleport us to where they all, have come and gone, by magic through the sacred fawn," I said. I knew it wasn't a very good spell but as long as it gets the job done. We reapeated it and then we all were sent into a sort of Time Stream. It was this bright tube thing. I grabbed onto my pets and made sure they didn't fall. Then we ended at the end. We fell out and landed in Neopia. Neopia was one of the most popualted places.

"Where is he?" Peter yelled. We looked all over. It looked like he was already here. The place was empty. Then we heard a burst of lightning and the wizard teleported behind us.

"Well, well, well, what have we got here. If it isn't the battledome men. I hope you don't mind me bowing down to you Danny," he said.

"I have no clue what your talking about," I said.

"Oh yes, you were a orphan in Neopia, I forgot."

"I'm a what? I have parents already and I am not a orphan!!"

"Ah, hahaha. That's what you believe but the truth is that you are a orphan. You are the Son of a King. King Anubis and Queen Alicia. You, Prince Danny, were the only survivor of the pleague that hit Neopia and the kingdom but this pleague was no normal pleague, it was a pleague made by a evil wizard who was jealous of his kingdom and wanted revenge so when they found you, they placed you into a orphinage so you would be safe. Oh, and do you know who this evil wizard was?"

"Oh, I have a BIG guess who it would be," I said. I was clutching my hand into a tight fist.

"Ah, you would suspect me wouldn't you but alas it was not me who had destroyed your true parents. It was my master. Oh and by the way, he also destroyed your other parents when he found out where you were."

"NOOO!!!!!" I sceamed. I punched him in the gut and then kicked him in the face. He looked back up and then zapped me with his wand. I flew backwards onto a wall. Peter used his Telepathy and shot a brick at him. Richard ran around me and grabbed some potions out of my backpack. He grabbed some potions and then threw them at the wizard. Then he blew them up using fireballs. The bottles blew up and then glass shot all over. Some powder spilled on the wizard. The powder was a mixture I made. Once it touched someone, it would make a giant ball of flames around the person who was hit. I moved my hands and formed a giant dome around the Wizard so the fire would stay around him. I made the dome smaller and waited for the fire to burn itself out. The wizard was still alive. I jumped above and then opened up a hole. I shot inside a gas and then the wizard fainted. I opened the dome and then shot ice around the fire. The ice melted befor it hit the fire and then turned into water. I used my sword and then froze the wizard's body. I slapped his face and then he woke up. He tried to get up.

"Now, tell me what I want to know and maybe I'll let you free, maybe," I said. He turned his head and spat at me. Peter looked at it and it froze in air.

"Now you wouldn't want to do that because I could lessen the air around you and I could accidently destroy you," Richard said. He looked at him. Then the ground started to move. The ice cracked.

"Now, who will destroy whom?" he said. The earth started to shatter.

"KLAMOTTON, YOU HAVE FAILED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!!" a voice yelled.

"No master nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!" he screamed. His body started to smoke and his body burst into flames.

"AS FOR YOU, IF YOU WANT ME, COME GET ME!!!" the voiced yelled.

"Then we will come," Peter said. A portal opened up.

"Do you think we can trust him?" Richard said.

"Do we have a choice?" I said. "We go in and rescue all the people that were turned into mutants or we stay out here alone and wait for it all to end." Richard nodded. We walked thru. We appeared in front of a castle. I looked around. It was dark and full of bats. There was a drawbridge. We walked towards the castle and then the drawbridge went down. Richard was about to walking towards it.

"Wait!" I said. I grabbed Richard's arm. I told Devilshou to use his Magical Pebbles and fire it toward the bridge. It went right thru and hit the water and then it started to smoke. The water was acid. They looked at me.

"How did you know that?" Peter said.

"I dunno. It was just a reaction," I said. I went into my backpack and pulled out my sunglasses. I clicked a button and the illususions disappeared. The real way was still blurry. I did a close up and then I saw the real Drawbride. I threw Peter and Richard a pair of sun glasses. They saw the bridge. It was still chained to the castle. I lifted my sword.

"On the count of three, Richard, fire your hurricane and I will fire some ice," I said, "One…Two…Three!!!!" We all fired. My ice hit the hurricane and then the thing turned into a giant nail like thing made of ice. It was curved and the bottom was still working so it kept going. It hit the wall and broke the chains holding the bridge. The bridge fell onto the floor. We walked across. We saw about 50 Mutant Kacheeks standing guard. I looked at the others.

"I have nothing. I don't know what else to do except attack," I said.

"Well, that sounds like a plan to me. Let's see. You see that alarm there? Well, we have to stop them from hitting that," Peter said.

"Me and my pet's will take care of that," Richard said. Peter nodded.

"Ok, I will take on the Kacheeks over there and you take the ones to the right," I said. We all agreed. We ran towards the creatures. We took it carfully since they were humans and pets. We continued the attacks. I used my powers to make cages. Dragowings4 used his Schorchio Flames and scorched the Kacheeks into the cage. Peter used his Psychic powers and made a bunch of them faint. His Meerca used his Meerca Squeal and then they fainted with pain. Richard was using his Sword and was riding his hurricane but turned into himself into a human flame and as his legs were on fire, the tornado was too. His Mutant Techno was using his tail and kicking around. Finally, we got them all inside a giant cage. I ripped up the alarm and then we kept going. We ran into some more Mutants but this time, it was Techos. The Techos used their abilities and darkend the room. Then they grabbed our NeoPets. I used my potions and then lit the room with lights. My NeoPets were tied up in a cage along with Peter's and Richard's. I looked inside. We seemed to be missing some NeoPets. My Mutant Techo and Richard's was missing and their armor were on the floor. About 20 Techo's were tied us. They were trying to trick us. If we attacked them and thn finished off the untied Techos, we would have to chose which Techo's were ours. We quickly fought off the ones that weren't untied. It wasn't as difficult as the Kacheeks since there were less. We opened up the cages that were holding our NeoPets and then threw in the Techos. Peter did a mind scan and then we quickly found out which was ours but then the other Techos broke out. Devilshou grabbed his Frost Bow. He ran out of arrows. I shot out a red arrow through my hands and then he shot it. It burst into a bunch of arrows and hit the Techos and made them freeze. We threw them inside the cage. We ran and then we ran intoa giant room. It was the throne room. We broke open the door and the man was standing there. He was the same guy that had yelled at the wizard. He walked towards us. We pulled out our swords and I grabbed some potions. He kept on walking and then laughed.

"What's so funny?!?!?!?!" I yelled.

"Well, well, well, I can't believe that a bunch of children defeated my best wizard and by the way, my name is Motormus," he said. He didn't have his Giganto voice on.

"Don't call us children."

"Ah yes, you are a Teen. So what. You are prepared to be destroyed aren't you?"

"Yeah? I don't think so? All I'm prepared to do is make you shut up!!!!" I yelled. I shot a beam at him. He flipped back and landed on his chair. I threw a potion at him. He coughed and then shot a electric shock at me. A potion flew into the air. I was knocked out. Devilshou, Simplythebestever, Devildog5, and Dragowings4 jumped up at Mortomus. They all shot a blast of fire at him. The potion landed on top of me. It seemed to mix with my genetic code and modified it. My motabolism sped up and then I started to shake. I got up and stopped myself. I gained super speed some how. I ran around the Mortomus and then started to punch him. I ran back to the door.

"As magic goes and runs and hides, the magican will turn to stone before our eyes," I said. The dust that was on him started to spread. It turned to stone and then he started to turn to stone. We watched him. He was screaming. We thought it was all over but then, the stone was cracking.

"Danny, what's happening," Dragowings4 said. He grabbed my leg. This was my strongest type of magic.

"Nothing. Just calm down and prepare to fight for our lives and ever other ones in Neopia," I said. The face started to crack and his face returned. He screamed and then the stone broke.

"You think it's that easy to beat me? Prepare for the end," he said. Peter saw a painting of the Queen Faerie on the wall and then poked me and pointed it out. It was the perfect plan. Peter quickly made some curtains from the throne fall on top of Mortomus. I grabbed a potion out of my bag and threw it at the Faerie Queens picture. It started to sizzle and then it exploded. The Faerie Queen appeared.

"What am I doing here?" she said. "Oh, hi Danny."

"Hi, sorry for bringing you here but, we need your help," I said. "Please bring the Battle Faerie here. It's an emergency."

"Sure, OK." She raised her hands up and said some magical words. There was a puff of smoke and then she appeared. She was wearing some normal clothes and not her battle ones (If you want to know what she looked like, go to the Neocircle in the 1 player Battledome).

"What am I doing here?" she said angrily. She never liked surprises. There was a loud crash. I looked around. Mortomus shot a blast and broke the wall in half. I quickly made a Flying Carpet and flew Peter and Richard over to me. Mortomus shot a blast at us but then the Battle Faerie used her Mad Clock and then froze time.

"Cool, let's go and kick his butt now!!" Richard yelled.

"No, we cannot do that," the Battle Faerie said.

"If we interfere with time, the world could be destroyed," the Queen Faerie said.

"We'll, what's the plan?" I said.

"We have to find the weaknesses and then get him down. We have about 2 more minutes. We have no time so I'll have to give you these." She handed me a Tornado Ring. She handed Peter a Feather Tickler, and Richard a Stripped Hammer. Time returned. The Electric Ball Mortomus shot at us was still coming. Peter was a baseball player and he smacked it with his Hammer. It changed into a stripped Ball and flew at Mortomus. Mortomus got flew into the air. Richard shot out feathers and then caught it on fire. It hit Mortomus and then his shirt caught on fire. I used my ring and then shot out a Tornado. Mortomus flew out of the whole he made when he attempted to blast Peter. He flew out and then hit the water. He started to burn. Something started to stink. It wasn't flesh stink, it was something else.

"That smell... I think its metal burning," I said.

"Yeah, it sort of does," Peter said. We looked down and then something exploded. A head flew up into the air. It had a bunch of wires connected to it. It flew higher into the air and then a blue ship flew above the castle and then it zapped the head. It blew up into little pieces. I looked around. The clouds disappeared. The desert turned to a beautiful forest. It was bright. NeoPets appeared out of nowhere. The castle started to change. The mutant NeoPets and people turned to normal. The castle walls went back to normal. The water in the mote turned to sweet juice. NeoPets went around and drank the drink. It was like sweet nectar. The flags changed from black to light blue. The pictures of Dr. Sloth that was hung around the room disappeared and Motormus' picture, they transformed into mine. I looked at the others. They looked back. This was where I belonged. The books and the shelves changed. It looked like my house. Devilshou changed. He wasn't a Mutant anymore but didn't turn back into my Lupe. He turned into a stripped Techo. We watched as everything changed. The place was brighter, happier, and quiet. All the monsters that were helping Mortomus turned into soldiers. Then the Queen Faerie.

"Hello Danny. So you are now the king of this land. I knew there was a reason I liked you," she said. She mostly liked everyone.

"Um....thank you. I dunno what ta say," I said.

"Well, um.... I guess we should leave," Peter said to Richard. They started to leave. I stopped them.

"No way!! You two are like some of my best friends. We gotta stay together," I said. Then this short old man walked towards us. He was holding a book.

"Well, it says here that...when your father, the king, was here, he had 3 children," the old man said. "Prince Danny, the oldest, his brother, Peter and the youngest Richard. It says here that, when the kingdom was wiped out, Danny was about 5 and Peter 4. The youngest was a new born. When the King and Queen were destroyed, they erased Danny and Peter's memory for safety reasons. It seems that, you three were separated and another legend says that you were meant to meet each other and save this land from the darkness but...." I looked at the others. They were my brothers.

"But what?" Peter said.

"But.....you were suppose to fight Mortomus and win but he was not the darkness that rained over the kingdom..." he responded. We looked at him. The Faerie Queen was astonished.

"I have to warn the others..." she said and then she vanished in a puff of smoke. We looked outside. Everything seemed perfect. The people and their pets came into the room. I wanted all the people who were effected to go into the throne room. We found some cool weapons in the weapon room. I also found the king's staff. It helped him rule the land. I got off the throne.

"I thank you all for not getting me in trouble with the Neopian Staff. I am sorry for the trouble I have caused you. For those who want to return back, I will gladly send you back but to those who will stay, I will send your house here," I said. Some of the people spoke. Some stayed but most left. I waved my Staff in a circle and a Portal opened up. They walked through and then went back to their place. I went back to my neighbourhood and teleported the houses back to the land. It seemed nice but until the Darkness comes, we will all be happy, just my family and me. Peter had his throne to the left of mine and Richard's was to the right. They also owned staffs. It was strange. They got staffs when they were kids and as they grew, so did the staffs. We had the combined powers of these staffs to help protect the land.
