Preparing for the Month of Celebration

The month of celebration is a time to be merry, eat, give, and be together with loved ones. My favorite time of the year is almost upon us and I can't wait to celebrate this festive occasion with everyone. People celebrate the month of celebration in different ways. You can decorate your neohome and garden with festive decor, colors and lights. It's time to dust of your Christmas tree in the back of the closet, get out all your Christmas ornaments, untangle your Christmas lights and garlands, and start thinking of all the gifts you'll be giving your loved ones. If you love it as much as I do, here are a few things you can do to start the best month of the year.

Don't Be Such a Baby!
As I watched my sister brush a stray strand of jade coloured fur away from her eyes, I wondered why she would have been abandoned. Prior to being Royal, she had been a simple Red Kacheek, but the nature of Royalty came to her with ease. She was kind and courteous, and nothing short of graceful.

Inside the Bottle
Aethia bounced around in her bottle, having been shrunk down to a little over the size of an apple. It was difficult to see out of the green tinted glass, but she watched her bottle being placed on a shelf next to bottles similar to hers. A small white sticker was then placed on the glass, over most of her field of vision. Aethia struggled to make out the letters – 100 neopoints.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
That joyous time of year when all little Neopians and Neopets start giving their thanks. And with that special time of gift giving, you know what that means… it’s time to start thinking about Christmas shopping!

The Sweet Xweetok: Why We Love Them
This year the Xweetok (along with yours truly) celebrate their 10th year in Neopia! In doing research for this article, I have asked people on the boards what their favourite things about Xweetoks are. I wanted to know users favourite Xweetok colours and wearables and generally what makes this species so popular.

Neoquest II: The Forgotten Heroine: Part One
Arthur was a Red Bruce who had gotten caught up in the Neoquest hype a bit later than the other children, but he too enjoyed playing Neoquest II. Eventually though, what happens to most gamers happened to him too, he found that the game’s plot was hackneyed, and repetitive, and it felt more like work than playing, so he quit in the middle of his Evil Mode run. Several years later, when all of that was a distant memory, he passed by a store one day and something displayed on the window caught his eye. It looked like a Neoquest game, but the title and cover were different, it said; Neoquest II: The Forgotten Heroine.

Meegla and Fargon's Not-So-Intergalactic Adventures: Part Eight
It was now incredibly late. Where most rescue missions would be aided by the cover of dark, these eight neopets felt a growing trepidation; they would soon be facing off against an organization that thrived under the cover of darkness. The young Desert Scarabs filed out into the snow, decked in winter gear loaned to them by the current captain of the operation. Their entire bodies shook with the force of the cold, unused to the Terror Mountain climate after a lifetime spent in the hot Lost Desert sun. But they must persevere.
