The Sisterhood of Terra and Phee: Part Fve

After I say goodbye to Lana, who has been talking with a prospective owner the past few days -- a scholar, I believe -- I write a neomail to Tricia and update her. She was adopted two months ago by a similarly shy and incredibly sweet girl with two other pets who Tricia seemed to love immediately. Then I say goodbye to Bert, who has become a more or less a friendly presence to me since I stood up to him shortly after Terra left. Then it was time to say goodbye to everything else.

Adventures Aren't Just in Books: Part Four

It was the 18th day of Storing just last year. Our species had been “discovered” a few days earlier. Of course, we have been on Neopia as long as you have we just preferred the mountains where we could be away from other species and have a pure Vandagyre society.

Turning Pages: Part Five

Stephanie woke slowly, blinking her eyes to adjust to the near darkness surrounding her. Where am I? Her head ached as she took in the sight. It was a large empty, field. Everything else was gone. How did I get here?

Mr. Aramate's Wonderous Emporium of the Soul: Part Two

Peter was eight. Which was an exceptionally important age, because all things are exceptionally important when you are eight. What you are eating for dinner, what colour your new shoes are going to be, and what is over the next hill. All pale into insignificance next to each other. The moment, that is what you live for.

On The Revolution of Heavenly Spears: Part Four

…because it never stopped.

The incessant clanging rang mercilessly into Ryshu’s ear. The incessant clanging rang mercilessly into Ryshu’s ears, forcing the poor Nimmo out of sleep with its painful volume. Eyes snapping open, he absent-mindedly stumbled out of bed in a zombie-like state, his head still stubbornly thick as solid rock and his body still drenched in ice-cold sweat.

After ACX: Part Seven

Part Seven - Clockwork

It’s the last day of play. Finally, it’s day 28 and soon, oh, so very soon, we will be free. I’m not the only one feeling like this, I can tell. The Snow pen, nearest us, have the same feeling of ennui, they’re practically drowning in it.

Fire-Born: Part Three

The group of Neopets and their owner stared at the Blue Peophin who had been caught trying to kidnap Vineti, a Chocolate Aisha. It was the middle of the night, and according to the Peophin, his boss would know if they went to the Chia Police.

“Should I still go?” Kata asked uncertainly. Lina looked at Vineti before answering.

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Four

King Frezon I stood in front of the crowd of Neopets at the bottom of the great steps for the second time this week, with a much more different announcement. It was a stiflingly hot day and he was still getting used to the intense heat in Sakhmet. Khamtef was much further eastwards, heading towards the sea, and often had a cool breeze in the air to help with the temperature. Sakhmet was a different story. But no matter. This had to be done.

To Succeed is to Fail: Chapter Four

Fear me not. o you appreciate the relevance the tiny phrase has throughout this story? Please say you do. However, if you really require everything in strict black and white: does Judy fear the zombies; does Melisma fear her employer; do you fear me?

Meegla and Fargon's Not-So-Intergalactic Adventures: Part Two

By the time the ship touched down, Meegla and Fargon were exhausted. Fargon just wanted to crawl into bed and not move for the next... Well. However many hours Meegla would let him sleep before she came up with their next big scheme. Not that he minded being woken up early for schemes! He was having way more fun now than he'd ever had before he met Meegla.

Greatest Game Ever Played (Probably)

With this article, I will have been published a total of 11 times. And since this issue of the Times comes hot on the heels of #700, I feel like I owe you all something a bit personal, deeper—some sort of reflection on myself as your fellow Neopian, y'know? I'm going to tell you a story about Cheat!, about a single game that I once watched Xenon play. It took less than ten minutes, and yet it stands head and shoulders above all else as the embodiment of what a roller coaster my decade-plus here has been.

Adventures in Lutari Island
Alyssa the Camouflage Uni stared out the window of the Neohome she lived in with her siblings. She longed to be outside, exploring the jungle like she always loved to do. Grinning, Alyssa silently slid open her window. She dotted down a quick note that read, "Gone adventuring. I'll try to be back for dinner!", and flew out the window.

Eternal Diva
It was night on the Tyrannia Plateau and even from miles away you could hear the noise from fans at the concert hall, screaming for their favourite bands and song artists. And in one of the dressing rooms, a striped Hissi with blond hair was getting ready for her own performance. Her name was Faith Handler, but her stage name was Whispered Faith.

Guilds: A Matter of Size
Have you ever been in a guild before? If so, you will probably know that guilds have many different sizes, which is reflected by the amount of members currently in the guild. However, whether a guild is small, large or even medium is, for the most part, subjective.
