Neopian Astrology: Shenkuu

Have you ever wondered what your Neopian sign is?

In my previous article on Neopian astrology, I wrote about the protectors of Altador and their constellations in the night sky, and this time I`ll be exploring the Shenkuuvian belief of how everyone born in a certain year possesses the quality of the Neopet ruling that specific year.

10 Things to Do When the Neoboards Go Down

Sometimes TNT has to take down the boards for a few hours to fix something, or update something, or just because they feel like it. I’m not really sure. The reason why the boards are down isn’t really important, the real problem is WHAT TO DO WITH YOURSELF?! Fortunately, I’ve got some suggestions for you!

New Goals for the New Year!

A brand new year has begun, and it's time to start thinking ahead to things you would like to accomplish during your time here on Neopets. Perhaps you're someone who just checks in for dailies, or during school holiday breaks. Perhaps you're a student with plenty of time on their hands, or a dedicated Neo-holic who can't bear to spend a single day away from the site. Whichever category you fit into, there's no better time than now to create some account goals for the new year.

Reselling: How to Make a Profit Off of Patience

Whenever you ask a Neopian how they make their neopoints, they usually tell you that they restock, play games, fight in the Battledome, invest in the Stock Market, or a bit of everything. However, most people don’t know that there is another method of making neopoints that’s based on a good eye for value, a bit of elbow grease, and lots of patience. This practice is called reselling.

Things That We're Lucky Enough To Ignore! (Part 2)

My earlier article all about the things we're lucky to ignore got a lot of positive feedback, and I thought it would be fun to write a second article all about the other things we're lucky enough to ignore! I canvassed the Neoboards for everything mentioned in this article, and I had a lot of fun talking to my fellow players!

Desperately Needed Wearable Items: Pet Hobbies.

However, there is still a gap in the wearables market that I think is yet to be filled: hobbies! There’s so much in Neopia, for players & pets, to help pass the time, it seems criminal not to have wearables to match! Therefore I have taken it upon myself to compile some examples of much-needed wearables, and most importantly, supplied some suggestions for people from what wearables are already available (yes, you’re right, perhaps I need a hobby).

Common Myths About Writing for the Neopian Times

I happened upon a few topics discussing rumors about how to get published into the Neopian Times. These comments intrigued me, so after I scribbled down a list of the most common ones, I poured myself a sixth cup of coffee, and left for the Neopian Times headquarters to see for myself if they were accurate or not.

"Cafeteria Food" by forestfleet
Chris burst through the door. "I've got a job!" he shouted. Starry, the blue lupe, sipped tea while she sat behind the small green coffee table. "I suppose anyone can get a job these days." Redwhisper, the red Scorchio, looked over from his stone chair. "Cool. What's the job?" "Your Neoschool teacher, teaching Science." "And now you lost me!" "What?" Chris asked, shaking his head. "Back during the Fall of Faerieland I was making healing potions! Ones that weren't particularly potent, but I digress." "Look," Starry said. "It has nothing to do with a lack of ability to make potions, to teach, et cetera- It's that you're saying it's at school. Our school." Chris sat down on an orange, hovering Virtupets bed. Slowly, he nodded. "You're right. That'd be terrible." "Thank you!" Starry sighed. "But I am a terrible person. School starts in two weeks. See you then." Starry bit her lower lip. The Scorchio shot a concerned glance at her, and she returned a nervous smile.

The Inventor's Craft
"What? Nothing changed." Mira responded with a roll of her eyes.

"But don’t you see, it worked!" the young faerie beside her spoke with the same enthusiasm as the Neopet inventor. Her brown dress was quite plain for a faerie. Then again, Kreludor isn't a place to be one's fanciest attire on. Especially with the places that she and Mira had been visiting.

Chronicles of a Caped Crusader: Long Shadows: Part Seven
The spell cast by Morguss and the Three had been successful; the Defenders had arrived too late to stop them from resurrecting Captain Nefarious. Morguss cackled evilly at the gathered heroes and her leer turned more cruel. She turned to look at Nefarious and bowed.
