How to Take Care of Your Plushie Neopet! by reducation

Welcome to How to Take Care of Your Plushie Neopet, a guide that will show you how you can have a happy, healthy plushie. My name is Dara and I'm your host for today. Joining me is my lovely assistant, Avingelin! She's a plushie herself, a plushie Gnorbu to be exact. We'll show you the ins and outs of plushie caretaking.
Before we even start anything we need to see if a Plushie is a good pet for you. This could be potentially harmful to your pet if you have a savage neopet that eats everything or if you can only afford stale bread. So, answer these questions before beginning: Do you have a pet that likes to eat inanimate objects or plushie?
Grarrls and Skeiths are known for being eaters of all things good and evil. They might accidentally snag a piece of your plushie neopet! This would not be very good. Are you poor?
It takes a lot of money to buy the food that Plushies need or for that nice neolodge house you put them in when your gone. Also, just the plushie paint brush itself is 4.5 million, which is a lot of money. Are you short on spare time?
Plushies need special care and time for their very many needs (read below). If you do not have this time, your pet could become sick or become very angry at you and turn red or blue! Is your neohome dangerous?
Don't forget to proof your house of all sharp or pointy objects that could rip your plushie's delicate fabric. Also, try to keep away from mud pits or pools in your house; nothing is worse than a soggy (and then crunchy) plushie.
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, you should probably hesitate before getting a plushie pet. Make sure you know how to properly care for your pet and that you are absolutely ready to have a plushie neopet. Let's begin, shall we?
Avingelin: We'll start off with basic care, then move on to advanced care. Good luck!
Now first of all, you want to have some good food around for your plushie. Their soft digestive system and lack of teeth make it hard to find food for your plushie. Never fear! There are plenty of supple meals. One of the best are slushies! They come in many different flavors and are full of protein. If slushies aren't your pet's thing, maybe try some omelettes. They're perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with varying styles and ingredients your plushie will never be bored! If all else fails, look for chewless foods such as applesauce or ice creams. Try to fit in ALL of the three main meals and include at least three in between snacks: Brunch, Linner and Dessert.
Avingelin: Make sure to vary your neopet's meals! No one wants to eat omelettes and smoothies every day. Here is a basic meal plan for your plushie if you need some ideas...
Breakfast - Bacon Omelette, Tangerine Slushie Lunch - Ham and Cheese Omelette, Mystery Berry Slushie Dinner- Sausage and Pepperoni Omelette, Tchea Fruit Slushie, Fig Ice Cream
Dessert- Coco Whip Slushie, Strawberry Ice Cream
Besides the basic things like food, your plushie will need a lot of care. Grooming your plushie may seem difficult, but you'll realize how fun and rewarding it can be. When washing your plushie, I would suggest either some soap or lotion to wash any stains or dirt off your plushie's fabrication. This is recommended every night, to make sure your neopet doesn't begin to smell bad. If you don't have time to wash your neopet every night, maybe try some Eau De Plushie, a simple fragrance made exclusively for plushies. If your neopet wants to like his or her best try a Plushie JubJub Brush or Plushie Acara Blue Lipstick for the daring neopet.
Avingelin: Always make sure your neopet is clean so they don't get sick with NeoMites, Lumps or other diseases.
Always keep a sewing kit on hand. I know from experience nothing is worse than spilled stuffing or torn stitching. If you don't know how to sew, ask one of your neofriends or your neopets to help you. The first and foremost thing to do if your plushie neopet becomes injured is to get your sewing kit and spare stuffing. Give him/her some ice cream and gently sew the injury up. Make sure to have some extra fabrics as well.
Avingelin: Not only is it the quickest way to repair your neopet, but its also a fashion statement. Patches are the new pink! Those are the basics of plushie care! If you follow those tips and tricks, your plushie will be beaming with happiness. But there is much more that you can do. Here are some advanced care tips and tricks for those who really want to pamper their neopet. Remember, these are totally optional, but will make your neopet feel very special.
Entering your pet in the beauty contest is a great way to bond and hang out with your pet. Your pet doesn't have to be a beauty queen to enter, either! Even the shyest neopets can be in the beauty contest. Just take a quick picture of your neopet and write a short sentence below describing them. If your neopet gets the most votes, she or he can either get 1st, 2nd or 3rd and get a fancy new trophy on their lookup. What neopet doesn't want that? This will definitely make your pet feel extra special and show other owners you care about your neopet too. If you're not good at art, or your neopet just doesn't take good pictures, the next option will be good for you.
Avingelin: The beauty contest (BC) is a great way for other people to get to know your neopet and see your own style!
The Neopet Spotlight is a great way to get your neopet well known in the world. Write a story or biography that fits your pet's style and maybe add a creative picture or two. You can have very inventive and original work in this area, as there aren't very many set guidelines. This is a good way to develop your neopets personality and you can also win a shiny trophy!
Avingelin: I hope to be entered in the Neopet Spotlight someday. I could talk about my bakery! *squeal* I get so excited about these types of things.
Well, there you have it, folks! Your guide to plushie-dom. Good luck with your new plushie neopet!
IF YOU'RE READING THIS, THEN I GOT INTO THE NEOPIAN TIMES! YES!
