Top 10 Most Wanted Random Events

*kicks useless random events* At one time or another we've all wished for a useful random event, but what exactly are the most desirable random events in Neopia? Here's a list of the most wanted random events that Neopians want to see pop up on the screen when they're roaming around the site. In other words, the "Something has happened!"s that make us scream and feel faint with excitement.

10) Something has happened! (Your pet) has got stronger!!!

Yay for free training! This sure beats having to buy codestones or dubloons. The only downside of this random event is that it randomly picks one of your pets so even if you keep your BD pet active there's a chance the strength might be given to your non-battling pet. This could possibly be good for those whose BD pet is on the verge of moving up a league when they aren't quite ready for it yet. No one likes being an underdog.

9) Something has happened! Count Von Roo appears in a puff of smoke and bites (your pet) on the neck! Ouch!

You might be wondering why anyone would want Count Von Roo to bite their pet. Wonder no more!!! Those who frequent the battledome know that with this random event comes Count Von Roo as a battledome challenger. Unfortunately, this wasn't true in the past. Due to a glitch some who have gotten this random got two mummies on their challenger list instead of Count Von Roo. The good news is that it seems like the "double mummy glitch" has been fixed. You just have to sit and wait around for Count Von Roo to come and bite your pet again. Just make sure your pet looks extra tasty and you don't have any garlic nearby.

8) Something has happened! Ohhh how cute. It seems (your petpet) has got a (petpet) in its mouth. Have you been feeding it lately?

Petpetpets are so adorable. I still remember the first time my petpet found one for me. It was one of the most memorable random events I've gotten since playing on this site. Whether the petpetpet be a Mootix, Cooty or something else, the thought of my silly petpet getting a petpetpet caught in its mouth makes me smile. Fortunately, the petpetpet comes out of this random event unscathed.

7) Something has happened! An Alien Aisha gives you a (nerkmid)!!!

This event was probably not as wanted when the Alien Aisha decided to save NP and hand out those cheap Good Nerkmid Erasers. This all came to an end after a long and heated debate with Lawyerbot. Thanks to Lawyerbot, the Alien Aisha now hands out Nerkmids that can be used at the Vending Machine. When you use the Nerkmid you will receive a prize as well as a chance of getting another Nerkmid in return and possibly making it on the high score table.

6) Something has happened! You find a piece of the secret laboratory map!

The secret laboratory map is probably the most popular map set in Neopia. Due to the high demand, some of the pieces are extremely expensive. This random event would be a welcome sight to anyone who is trying to complete the map. Even those who aren't trying to complete the map would be happy to receive this random event because the pieces are considered easy to sell, which means more NP in the bank.

5) Something has happened! A beautiful Fire Faerie floats down and gives you a (petpet paint brush)!!!

Being a petpet collector, this is one of my favourite random events. This random reminds us that it's not just Neopets that can be painted beautifully, but also their cute little companions. There is a chance that you may get a buyable petpet paint brush from this random, but you shouldn't complain. Like they say in Neopia, don't look a gift Uni in the mouth.

4) Something has happened! Dr. Sloth appears and hands you a (species) Transmogrification Potion!!!

Out of all the Dr. Sloth random events, this one is probably everyone's favourite because there's a chance of getting a Krawk Transmogrification Potion from it. If you don't get a Krawk TP from Dr. Sloth with this random, there's no need to fret. All transmogrification potions are unbuyable so you always come out richer than before. It sure beats having Dr. Sloth turn one of your valuables into a pile of sludge.

3) Something has happened! Jacko the Phantom Painter gives you a (paint brush)!!!

This is one phantom that you definitely want to come and visit you. The random event is very similar to the beautiful Fire Faerie one except that Jacko doesn't give out petpet paint brushes. He gives out the paint brushes that are used on Neopets. Here's to hoping he gives you the paint brush to help you accomplish that dream pet of yours.

2) Something has happened! The Fountain Faerie glides up to you. "Hullo. I don't suppose you'd find me (Item)? It's ever so important."

Out of all the faerie quests available, this one has got to be the most sought after. Avatar collectors rejoice because it offers them the opportunity to get a shiny new avatar and pet customizers rejoice because it offers them the opportunity to paint a dream pet.

1) Something has happened! A Scorchio in a pointy, purple hat hands you a Trading Card and says, "This will be a nice addition to your album!"

Please let it be a MSPP (TCG)! Please let it be a MSPP (TCG)! *fingers and toes crossed* Ever since TNT mentioned in the editorials that it would be possible to get a MSPP (TCG) this way, Neopians from far and wide have been hoping to be lucky enough to find this card in their inventory after receiving the random. Avatar collectors want it for obvious reasons and others want it because it would make them instantly rich. Just don't get your hopes up too high because "the chances are very slim" as noted by TNT.
