My name is Petrichor (Petra, if you’d prefer), and I am the new Community Manager for Neopets here at Jump Start Games. I am absolutely delighted to meet you all and am looking forward to our future adventures together in Neopia!

While you can often find me in Faerieland, I am originally from Australia and now reside in Oregon where I chase rainbows with my wonderful family and fur babies. I’ve worked as a Community Manager in the Gaming Industry for over 11 years on various projects and I have a passion for helping gamers more deeply connect with the products they love. Like many of you, my adventures in Neopia began as a child, and after a long time away, I am excitedly returning to help serve this amazing community.

When I’m not learning about Neopets, you can find me indoor gardening, badly playing the guitar, or doing some Yoga to calm my nerves after playing through a scary video game. I love cooking, the smell of rain, and coffee.

I’m here to help make sure your voices are heard within JumpStart and to communicate on behalf of the Neopets team. You should expect to see improved communication, more ways to engage with each other, and spicy memes.

Hi TNT! Is it allowed to give people who buy from your store "loyalty prizes" in items? For example, somebody constantly buys something for more than 1k and you give them a codestone because they're such a good client?. I've never done it but I've seen people do it and always wondered. ~~anonymous
No, sorry you cannot offer incentives to buy from your store. You are more than welcome to send gifts to friends or anyone on the site but you cannot advertise that you will send these gifts to people who do buy more from your store.

Is there a way to jointly submit a Neopian Times article? I'm considering co-writing an article or two in the future and wondered if there was a way to have two usernames in the byline. ~~faith502
Yes, of course you can. Just make sure that whichever one of you submits the article puts the second person's name in the comments so the NT Editor will know it's a collaboration.

It was recently re-confirmed that advertising Beauty Contest entries in signatures is okay, but I do have to wonder where the line is drawn now on spamming and "buying" votes. Previously, users with BC signatures still had to contribute to the boards that they were posting to (they couldn't even bump their own boards with a BC signature without getting warned), and giving anything in return for votes was strictly against the rules. However, over the past few months there have been a lot more people doing both, and rarely (if ever) being punished. People posting "good luck/free bump" type messages on the Pound Chat, or even gifting quest items on the Quest Help boards. Are these both still reportable? And if not, then why have things changed? ~~anonymous
Hi, Contest Judge (kikocat) here. Those are absolutely against the rules and reportable! You cannot buy or trade votes and must contribute to conversations to be able to post with your advertisement in your Neosig (remember no part of your advertisement can be outside the Neosig for any reason). Trading votes, bribing someone for their vote or buying votes are all very serious infractions and can result in an immediate removal of the entry as well. Please report those and the monitors will make sure I get the reports so they can be handled.

TNT the new Meridell theme is the prettiest of all the site themes to come out for the new layout. It feels the most like oldschool neopets and it's great. Can we please have this theme available to use forever beyond space and time? ~~charybdis7

Hi. I'm writing in with happy thoughts because I love the new Burlap Blumaroo. It looks great with the blue accents! I would love to see more Burlap pets with accents of many different colors in the future. The Burlap Blumaroo is yet another pet I will consider when new pet slots are introduced; it will be hard to narrow it down. ~~_brainchild_
