How to Shop for your Favourite Neopet

by dancerchickemily

--------

Are you stuck on what to give that special Neopet in your life for their birthday, a holiday, or just because? Well, look no further! We’ve found what we think are the best items you can give to each species to make them feel warm and fuzzy … or cold and scaly if your Neopet is a Hissi.

Acara: Acara Swim Mask and Acara Swim Fins

It’s no secret that Acaras love to swim. Why not update their gear? This set of matching swim mask and fins are sure to make your Acara want to dive right in.

Aisha: Guide to Stargazing and Constellations

It may feature a Poogle on the cover, but Aishas also are fond of stars and stargazing. This book may give your Aisha the nudge they need to reach for the stars.

     Blumaroo: Jump Rope

For your favourite bouncing Blumaroo! And they’ll get a sick arm workout in the process.

     Bori: Jar of Dirt

Bori love to dig, so we think this will be a great gift if you fill it up with dirt they’ve personally dug. They might even be so happy they’ll sing about how they’ve got a jar of dirt!

     Bruce: Winged Ice Skates

Bruces thrive in and around ice. Ice skating is a favourite of theirs. Plus, if your Bruce isn’t a Faerie, these ice skates will finally give them wings.

     Buzz: Squeezable Tigersquash

For the Buzz on the go. They love exotic fruits, and this handy tubed Tigersquash is perfect to eat while flying around.

Chia: Bounce Like a Yooyu Trampoline

Trampolines are some of the Chia’s favourite toys, and this special trampoline with a Yooyu print will make them feel like they can bounce even higher.

     Chomby: Avocado Cookbook

Chombies are kings and queens of vegetarian snacking. Give them this cookbook, and they’ll be able to whip up a nice, vegetable-forward meal whenever they please.

     Cybunny: Cherry Carrot Ice Cream

Let your Cybunny know you’re thinking about them with this delicious ice cream adorned with cherries and, of course, carrots. It’s even in the shape of a Cybunny!

     Draik: Meridell Toy Plane

Draiks originated in Meridell, and they love to fly. Give them this toy to pay homage to their home and give their wings a rest!

     Elephante: Bag of Peanuts

This gift will let your Elephante know you’ll never forget them. You may have some competition to buy it at Neopian Fresh Foods, though.

     Eyrie: Kadoatie Adventure Backpack

Eyries are some of the largest Neopets out there. As such, they can give their friends of other species rides on their backs when they fly. Shell out some Neocash for this backpack, so your Eyrie can comfortably take their smaller Neopet and Petpet friends with them wherever they go!

     Flotsam: Swimming Flotsam Statue

Flotsam are excellent swimmers, and this statue will make an equally excellent centerpiece in their garden.

     Gelert: The Power of Friendship

Gelerts are known all across Neopia for their friendship. This Battledome item will let them know, like its description says, that with the power of your friendship, you can defeat any enemy together.

Gnorbu: Blue Long Hair Brush and Green Long Hair Brush

Gnorbu must manage their luscious locks all year until Shearing Day in the Month of Sleeping. We think gifting two hair brushes (one for each half of the year!) is the best way to go about maintaining the mane.

Grarrl: Tarla Travel Toothbrush and Sparkly Toothpaste

Like the Gnorbu, our gift for your favourite Grarrl is also in the personal hygiene category. Grarrls love to show off their teeth, and this travel toothbrush and toothpaste will leave them feeling shiny and fresh on the go.

     Grundo: Intergalactic Orange Sorbet

For your Grundo, an orange-coloured food is a must. Why not make them something that’s out of this world?

Hissi: Grannys Cottage Picture Book for Grown Ups

Hissis have been known to enjoy stories that are read to them. This book is a great way to boost their creativity and imagination.

     Ixi: Court Jester Jokes

Ixi can be jokesters, and who better to tell their quips to than the royal court of Meridell? This joke book will have your Ixi laughing its horns off.

     Jetsam: Clam and Meatball Pizza

Jetsam roam in and out of water, so this surf-and-turf meal will be a great one to whip up for your Jetsam.

     JubJub: Roller Coaster Design

JubJubs can be daredevils, and in our opinion, there’s no better book than this for your favourite thrill-seeker. If your JubJub is never fully satisfied with the intensity of a roller coaster, now they can learn how to make one even more fur-raising!

     Kacheek: Flowers of Inner Healing

Kacheeks will appreciate just about any flowers, but this special Battledome item also will allow you to acknowledge that we all have a little healing to do. They’ll love to know how much you care.

     Kau: Karaoke Machine and Microphone

Did you know Kaus love to sing? This karaoke set surely will liven up their living room.

     Kiko: Altador Cup Souvenir Towel

Kikos prefer to be near water — especially Kiko Lake. Show your support by donating this towel to your Kiko.

     Koi: Pearl Shell Night Light

Koi are not coy when it comes to their love of treasures. If they hate the dark as much as they love all things shiny, this is the perfect gift.

     Korbat: Chic Sunglasses

Korbats may be nocturnal, but they’ll show up to daytime events that suit their fancy. They just need some sweet shades to complete their outfit.

     Kougra: Dr. Sloth Boxing Toy

Kougras pass the time by playing with friends, taking them by surprise and pouncing. This toy will give them — and their friends — a break by letting Dr. Sloth and a Grundo take all the hits.

     Krawk: Shocking Pranks

Did you know Ixi aren’t the only Neopets who love getting into harmless trouble? Gift your Krawk this book, and they’ll learn all kinds of new pranks they’ll hopefully use on someone other than you.

     Kyrii: Soft Kyrii Hairbrush

Kyrii do not like any dirt or damage to their manes, so this brush will help them keep clean and confident. It will also help them get ready for the Chomby and the Fungus Balls concert they have tickets to!

     Lenny: Giant Book of Crosswords

Lennies tend to be very curious and are known to be intelligent. Help satisfy their love of solving puzzles by giving them this Giant Book of Crosswords. It is certainly cheaper than dinner at The Golden Dubloon.

     Lupe: Lupe Moon Charm

Lupes are known for their love of moonlight. Jewelry as a gift is always a hit, so why not hit two Pteris with one stone and give your Lupe this Moon Charm. Your Lupe can embrace their love of the moon without any fear of running into their more dangerous counterparts: Werelupes.

     Lutari: Lutari Painting

On land, the Lutari uses its tail for balance, and in the water it is considered to be an excellent swimmer. It is native to Lutari Island, which is largely a mystery. Now your Lutari can feel connected to their homeland and learn some of the native crafts.

Meerca: The Magic Behind the Prank

Meercas are known for their sense of humour. If the store is all out of Whoopee Cushions, give your Meerca a copy of The Magic Behind the Prank so they can learn the ins and outs of new ways to be naughty.

     Moehog: Bucket of Mud

Moehogs have hooves that help them to climb and walk long distances, and they enjoy jumping and playing in the mud! Keep it simple and give your Moehog a Bucket of Mud — they will appreciate this thoughtful gift.

     Mynci: Fruit Basket

Myncies tend to be huge fans of bananas for snacks. Give your Mynci a Fruit Basket as a gift, so they can munch on some bananas before their climbs. There should be plenty of fruit left over for you to steal a piece or two for yourself!

     Nimmo: Karate for Beginners

Prioritizing a sense of spiritual balance, the Nimmo likes to remain peaceful and tranquil. Nimmos also have a love for martial arts. This book will allow them to brush up on their skills. Just don’t make them mad!

     Ogrin: Usuki Dream Camper

Ogrins appreciate the natural world but are not as fond of camping in the wilderness. Ogrins prefer to live more luxuriously and stay in a structure or Neohome as opposed to a camping tent. Give your Ogrin a taste of camping from the comfort of their home!

     Peophin: Magic Wand

Peophins tend to be shy by nature but are heavily connected to the magic that exists in Neopia. Although they often have a preference of being in the water, they can use this magic to float on land when they need or want to. Now your Peophin can tap into the magic they’re connected to even more.

     Poogle: Poogle Running Shoes

Poogles are highly competitive in nature. They also are skilled at both climbing and running. Get your Poogle a pair of Poogle Running Shoes, and they can show off their skills in these new kicks!

     Pteri: Practical Jokes

Despite the similar name, Pteris do not have any relation to the Tyrannian Pterodactyl creature. Still, Pteris are fun-loving and enjoy a practical joke with their good sense of humour. Give your Pteri a copy of Practical Jokes so they can really have some fun…just make sure you watch your back after!

     Quiggle: Stagnant Puddle of Water

Quiggles love to have fun and splash around in puddles. Gift your Quiggle a Stagnant Puddle of Water so they can play around for hours. You might want to pick up a mop to use after they’re finished playing, though.

     Ruki: Lost Desert Travel Brochure

Rukis are tough creatures who adapt to their environment easily, and they are great travellers as a result. Gift your Ruki this travel brochure, so they can start preparing an itinerary for their next vacation!

Scorchio: Fire Pit With a Spit

It’s no surprise that Scorchios love hot temperatures. One of their best party tricks is blowing fire from their mouth. With this gift, they can perfect their talent! Maybe they will even show their appreciation by cooking you dinner.

     Shoyru: Shoyru Pink Aviator Goggles

Shoyrus are amazing friends but can have a temper if they feel like they are being mistreated. Anybody who has a Shoyru knows they love to fly. Be a good friend and gift your Shoyru these goggles, or you might just see that temper come out!

     Skeith: Calendar Planner

Skeiths are commonly known for their physical strength and ability, but they can also be lazy when they want. They enjoy delegating tasks to others so they won’t have to do it themselves. This gift will help them keep track of all the tasks they are going to make you do for them.

     Techo: Pretty Pink Hammock

Techos enjoy being lazy and doing nothing while relaxing outside. They tend to be guilt-free and are not easily discouraged. Now they can lounge outside as long as they please!

     Tonu: Star Shaped Cheeseburger

Tonu love to run around and play ball games — even though they may knock a few things over in the process. They are known to overeat if they aren’t careful because of their large appetites. Cook your Tonu a special meal: a Star Shaped Cheeseburger. They’ll get a great snack, and you can make sure they don’t overeat. Just don’t add a Negg to it.

     Tuskaninny: Red Bouncy Ball

Tuskaninnies like to play and be outside in the sun. Since they move slowly on land, they are not into your typical competitive sports. Gift your Tuskaninny a Red Bouncy Ball, and they can practice their sports skills. No more getting picked last for teams!

     Uni: Glamourous Uni Mirror

Unis are known for their well-maintained appearance and grooming skills. They spend a lot of time making sure they look good. This makes the Glamourous Uni Mirror the perfect gift to give and will make your Uni a shoe-in for the Beauty Contest.

     Usul: Usul Ski Ear Warmers

Usuls tend to adapt very well to cold climates because of their fluffy fur. They are often found in Terror Mountain playing winter sports. Giving your Usul a pair of Usul Ski Ear Warmers will help ensure their ears are protected while outside playing. Doesn’t hurt either that the ear warmers are super cute!

     Vandagyre: Roasted Chestnuts

Vandagyres are well-regarded as being wise creatures. In their spare time, they often read or tend to their garden. They also are foodies and have a particular fondness for foods that have nuts. Now your Vandagyre can snack all day while reading their favourite book.

Wocky: Scratchcard Kiosk Wocky Snow Suit

Wockies are very alert and perceptive Pets. They are also known to enjoy exploration. Gift them a Scratchcard Kiosk Wocky Snow Suit, which will help keep them warm during their travels to the Scratchcard Kiosk. Note: This may also help to fuel their gambling addiction.

     Xweetok: Golden Medallion

Xweetoks are very swift and lively. They like to play games with others and participate in the Battledome, but they also can be sore losers. Keep your Xweetok on your good side by giving them this Golden Medallion…that way they know they are always No. 1 to you!

     Yurble: Tent

Yurbles thrive in the outdoors and love to explore. They can be found on a run outside or even on a camping trip. Gift your Yurble a Tent so they can go on trips whenever they want! Maybe if you’re nice they will even let you tag along sometime.

     Zafara: Zafara Mercenary Boots

Zafaras can be located all around Neopia, as they are known to be adventurous. Give your Zafara a new pair of boots so they can go on adventures in style!
