The Top 10 Neopets Halloween Paint Brush Costumes by smoothie_king_xiii
--------
Halloween is upon us!! My favorite holiday!! With that comes one of the most popular paint brush colours of all time: Halloween! This is a fairly unique paint brush in terms of colouring because it is not consistent across species. For example a Split Paint Brush will always paint a pet two tones; orange and purple. A Snow Paint Brush will always turn your Neopet into a pile of snow. A Halloween Paint Brush, however, will put each species in their own individual costume and give them their own colour scheme. I am here to break down my own top 10 species to use a Halloween Paint Brush on. While they are all beautiful in their own right, there are some that are not as unique as the others. For example:
Acara, Eyrie, Kaus, and Krawks all get a similar skin tight body suit with a skeleton pattern on it. While this is a great look and many Neopians love the style, for me it is not unique enough to crack the top 10 on my list. We'll start from 10 and work our way up to number one! 10. Halloween Moehog
The Halloween Paint Brush gives the Moehog the most disgusting, vile shade of green one could imagine. It matches the colour of Dr. Sloth perfectly! In fact, this Halloween costume turns your Moehog into the master of evil Dr. Sloth! You will get a similar cape to this dark monstrosity and the same pointed head with three hairs? Fingers? Who really knows what is on top of Sloth's head? I won't ever get close enough to find out! Your Moehog will also achieve the same sinister grin! 9. Halloween Yurble
There are few things scarier to me than when tax time rolls around, so seeing a Yurble dressed up as the Tax Beast is terrifying! When the Tax Beast rolls around in random events you are forced to pay a percentage of your current Neopoints on hand to him, and sometimes that can result in millions of neopoints lost in an instant. This costume is so realistic he even has the little bag of NP the Tax Beast carries around to terrorize unsuspecting Neopians. 8. Halloween Lenny
Bubbling brews and eye of newt, a Halloween Lenny would be right at home in front of a giant cauldron and vials full of Grundo toes and other weird ingredients. The greens and purples in this costume go together perfectly and embody witchcraft to the max. 7. Halloween Flotsam
We've all done this costume at some point in our lives: cutting two holes in a sheet and throwing it over our heads and yelling "BOO!" This classic translates well to the Flotsam to create an adorable costume for them. The fact that Flotsams seem to float around Neopia makes the costume work extra well and kicks up the spooky levels to a new high. 6. Halloween Kyrii
While this isn't the only Werewolf costume available (you can find one on the Halloween Lupe as well), there is something a bit more Teen Wolf savage about this one. The wild hair growing in every direction, the clenched fist and sharp nails make this green eyed monster one of my favorite Halloween Paint Brush options. 5. Halloween Tonu
Have you ever seen a cuter Frankenstein's monster? From the bolts in his neck to the stitches across his horn! He is here to have a good time and everyone will adore him. This is a great option if you don't want to go over the top with fear and scare all your friends away when they come to the Halloween party. 4. Halloween Wocky
I think this may be the closest you can get to a Mutant pet without a transmogrification potion. His wonky eyes and giant hump back are a unique look, but his single tooth smile is sure to win the affection of many. I find him adorable with his goofy smile and potato sack outfit. My only fear is that he may bring fleas into my home. 3. Halloween Uni
Flames? Sold! This Uni is dressed as the famous Nightsteed from the Desert Plot. He fell victim to a terrible curse that transformed all the citizens of Qasala into undead monsters, but after living in his new form for many years he adapted and started to actually like his appearance. In honor of this companion of Prince Jazan, Unis around the world have emulated his style on Halloween. 2. Halloween Grundo
The bringer of death has arrived, and this Grundo grim reaper is here to take your soul. He has a scythe bigger than his own body and a dark cloak that hides his expression from the world. No one really knows what he is emoting but his glowing red eyes tell you all you really need to know: run! The cloak also has a wispy bottom which makes you wonder...is there a physical body underneath, or is he just a floating wisp coming to take the souls of innocent Neopets everywhere. His bonified antennae are the last thing you'll see before he takes your spirit to the undead. 1. Halloween Quiggle
Goofy, silly, and scary. This costume puts your Quiggle in a curly wig and a nice tuxedo and gives him an expression of someone completely unstable. He looks like he is going to take the shovel and dig up some graves for fun. Is he a grave robber or just a bone collector? His top hat and outfit give a professional appearance, so he looks like he belongs in a graveyard, but one look at his face shows that maybe he should be asked to leave. Rumor has it that if you stare at his transparent eye that you will turn to stone. I don't know how much truth there is in that but I am never going to try and find out. I love this one because it is a little silly but so unsettling at the same time. It isn't gory or violent, just something is not right with him and I won't stick around long enough to find out what he is capable of.
