9 Things To Do on Slorg Day

     To celebrate this ICONIC petpet, an exclusive date in the calendar was chosen. Why is it celebrated on this day? No one knows for sure (maybe because it was an empty spot?)... The purpose of the holiday, however, is not to know the reasons behind it; but rather, to have fun with Slorgs!

     In this article, we will list 9 different, fun things you can do on this holiday to have a celebration!

     1. Adopt a Slorg!

     First things first, it should be considered a crime not to known at least one Slorg! Their good mood will for sure cheer up your Neopets. As they are super popular, they are rather cheap - yet another reason for you to have one.

     They can be bought at the Spooky Petpets store in the Haunted Woods, or from user shops all over Neopia (the Shop Wizard should help you on that!). Also, don't forget to check out the Auction House and the Trading Post.

     2. Paint Your Slorg

     No other petpet has as many colours available as the Slorg. You can make it Faerie, Plushie, Clay, Birthday, Pirate, Snow, Zombie, Maraquan, Island, Disco... and even Dung or Invisible. Or Salad! The list goes on for quite a while. But what you have to do is simple: just choose your favourite! To check out all possible colours, head to the Rainbow Puddle in Neopia Central.

     You can paint it in the traditional way, by buying a Petpet Paint Brush and using it on your Slorg at the Rainbow Puddle.

     However, you can also directly buy a Slorg in the colour of your choice through user shops, the Auction House or the Trading Post.

     3. Take your non-Slorg petpets to Turmaculus

     Is this cruel? Totally not. The Turmaculus must be fed! And all is worth it if you need room for a new Slorg on Slorg Day.

     (And no, we never said this same thing back on Symol Day).

     4. Collect Slorg-related items

     If you thought there were already too many colours for a Slorg, just imagine how many Slorg-related items out there! They can be found in several different official Neopian shops, and as always through other buying means (Shop Wizard, Trading Post, Auction House).

     You could start with food items, such as Slorg Potatoes, Slorg Meatloaf, and Banana Gummy Slorg, and then move on to toys such as the Displeased Slorg Plushie, Bouncy Slorg Ball, and the Slorg Play Pen. There are also school items such as the Pink Slorg Backpack, and the Blue Slorg Calculator; stamps such as the Plushie Slorg Stamp, and the Slorg Flakes Stamp; and cards such as the Attack Of The Slorgs (TCG), and the Slorg Slime (TCG).

     If you get inspired by this, you can always showcase your collection in your gallery, where of course you can choose a Slorg as your gallery keeper! There are 14 options in there that contain Slorgs, including the Slorg Faerie Fly and the Island Slorg. What are you waiting for?!

     5. Read about Slorgs

     These tiny creatures are full of personality, so it might be a good idea to study about them before owning one. Starting with the book Slorg Care should give your Neopet the basics of having a friend Slorg - and it is also the cheapest reading option you will find about Slorgs. Other good reads include The Slorg and I, Slorg and Steady, and De-Slorg Your Farm - the latter in case you find yourself with a naughty one (speaking of which, there is also the Naughty Slorg! book).

     As usual, Slorg-themed books can be found in official and user shops, the Trading Post, and the Auction House.

     6. Customize your Neopets and your Neohome with Slorg-related items!

     Why not go all in? Your Neopets will definitely love to wear a Slorg Hat and Slorg Slippers.

     For your Neohome, items such as the Slorg Wardrobe for your Neopets' bedrooms and a Slorg Paddling Pool in the yard are top choices.

     Should the mantra even be repeated at this point? Official shops, user shops, Trading Post, Auction House. You get it.

     7. Honour your Slorg with offerings art!

     Slorgs deserve all the appreciation in this world, that's for sure. If you have a talent for the arts, use all of your inspiration to draw/paint/whatever them! Once you're done, you can submit them to the Petpet Spotlight or to the Art Gallery.

     Also, you can incorporate your art into your User Lookup and submit it into User Lookup of the week. Also, you can always showcase it at your Pet Lookups or Petpages.

     8. Visit the Rich Slorg

     The Rich Slorg is the guardian of the Shop Of Offers, one of the so-called "Dailies" of Neopets. It is located in Neopia Central. With a visit, you can win 50 or 100 Neopoints (chosen randomly) from the most generous Slorg of Neopia!

     9. Play Slorg games!

     If you have already crossed all other items in this list, to finish your holiday with a flourish you can head to the Games Room and have a few rounds on Slorg-themed games.

     On Attack Of The Slorgs, you have to keep in check naughty Slorgs that are taking over a farm! In the other hand, on Attack Of The Slorgs II - Slorgs In Space, you must defeat them in their quest to dominate the universe! (And then people say Meepits are greedy...)

     There are also Petpet-themed games that have special features by Slorgs.
