A Neopets Birthday!

     I welcome you all in joining me, as I wish our favourite site a Happy Birthday! As an added bonus, I’ll be listing out 11 things which happen around the site on this fantastic day. Hope you’re ready for all the wonderful surprises!

     1. Free soup from the Soup Faerie - For all Neopians with less than 3000 NP, you will be able to receive free soup! Yes, you heard that correctly. As long as you are below the 3000 NP threshold, your pets can visit the ever so generous Soup Faerie for some delicious free food on this special day.

     2. Birthday Site Theme – Along with the free soup from earlier, on this rather fortunate day you will also be welcomed by the wonderful Birthday Site Theme! This theme will be available all day, and rumours even state that Random Events are increased during this period (although these rumours are yet to be verified). You might just be lucky enough to receive a Paint Brush or have Gordos swing by and give you a stamp. The Birthday Site Theme will remain active for 24 hours, and will revert back to your original site them once the day is over.

     3. A Neopets Birthday Avatar! – Every year, on November 15th, the Neopets Birthday avatar becomes available. All you have you to do is visit the “New Features” page any time during the 24-hour period, to secure yourself this snazzy little avatar for your collection. Make sure you don’t miss out since this avatar is only available once a year! If you do miss it, make sure to come back next year to get this amazing avatar.

     4. Increased chances at Coltzan's Shrine – Is this just another rumour? Is this a myth? No need to worry about all that, it is indeed confirmed that Coltzan's Shrine has increased odds of rewarding spectacular prizes on November 15th! Coltzan himself is awaiting to reward you prizes such as stats, items and Neopoints. If you’re extremely lucky, you might even win a Kings Lens; there are even rumours that he’ll grant you 1 million Neopoints! It’s been a very long time since anyone has claimed this prize, perhaps you’ll be the lucky one?

     5. Treasure of the Black Pawkeet free – Another one of our favourite dailies, the Buried Treasure of the Black Pawkeet is absolutely free! Not only is it free on Neopets’ Birthday, but for the entire month of November, the cost to play will be cut in half from 150 NP to 300 NP. If you’re still eyeing that Aisha Scalawag avatar, this month will lighten the load on your wallet. And who knows, maybe you’ll win the coveted jackpot as well!

     6. Free training from the Swashbuckling Academy – Dubloons eating into your Neopoint funds? Worry no longer! The Swashbuckling Academy will have an entire day of free training for the duration of the birthday period. So, tarry no longer, get out there and increase your pet’s stats and reap those sweet Battledome rewards!

     7. Increased ticket sales at the Ticket Booth – No birthday is complete without the sound of music filling your ears, and where better than the Tyrannian Concert Hall to get your fill? With extra tickets for sale, you can enjoy the sweet jams of Neopia without having to worry about tickets being sold out!

     8. NC Mall Birthday Cakes – Birthdays and gifts go hand-in-hand, and TNT has always been kind enough to release FREE goodie bags for us to enjoy in the NC Mall. These goodie bags often contain wearables or stat boosting Birthday Cakes for your pets! Make sure you don’t miss out on these freebies as they’re only offered once a year and the best of all they are totally FREE!

     9. Scores Galore returns – Games, games and more games! On this auspicious day, we’ll be able to enjoy Scores Galore! Instead of the usual limit of 3 score sends per day, you’ll be able to send your scores 5 times for each flash game. Even if you’re not the most avid gamer, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to make yourself some easy NPs. You can also use the amazing Games Fortune Cookie to double your Neopoints rewards, if you are super lucky you might even get x3 rewards instead of x2.

     10. Brain Tree reward increase of 25% - Are you still missing the Brain Tree avatar? Well here's your chance! There's a 25% increase to the reward system when you complete any Brain Tree Quest during the Birthday period. Remember, in order to complete it you will need to give the Esophagor his requested items first. There's no guarantee you will get a hi-score, but you should still attempt it since the rewards are totally random and what better day to try than on Neopets’ Birthday! (It is currently unknown if this year the % increase will be active)

     11. Free spins at the Wheel of Excitement – No need to shy away from the Wheel of Excitement, as it will be entirely free for the duration of Neopet’s Birthday! If you still need the avatar, there’s no better time than now to spin! Even if you don’t win the coveted 20,000 NP and avatar, there are still plenty of wonderful (and a few not so great) prizes for you to receive.
