You should work to make it as special as possible. Whether it’s their first birthday or their ninth, you should party like it’s Year 5 (Retro, baby!)! But that means you only have 364 days to get ready... and what if you can’t think of anything? What if you’ve gone completely brain dead and run out of ideas? What should you do? Never fear, though, for I have written this guide of ideas to help you celebrate your neopet's big day!

#5.) Play every game on the site three times, and send your score each time. This is great because it can relieve your pet of some of the stress you may put it under. It's not easy walking all over the world, just so you can have a few freebies. And beating on Punchbag Bob for a trophy is more tiring than it looks. By playing games, not only are you helping your neopet, you're helping yourself. Your neopet won't be on your case all day about sore feet, you'll have some fun, and you'll make quite a few neopoints, too! By playing games, you may get on the High Score Table! And if you’re in the top seventeen for a high score, you’ll earn trophies, and everyone likes trophies. The neopoints you earn can be used on some of the other things on this list. Or you can spend them on your own personal shopping spree! Now, who doesn't want that?

#4.) Buy a Birthday Meal! There are plenty of delicious foods out there your neopet has probably never even seen! Find out your neopet's preferences before their birthday, and try to find something that matches their interests. For instance, maybe your pet is a party animal. Well, a party just isn't a party without Neopia's perfect food, pizza! You could travel all the way over Neopia Central's rainbow to Roo Island and pick up the expensive pizza (ohh, pricey!). It doesn't matter if it's going to be hard; try your best! Maybe you could even stock the bookshelves with that new book your pet has been dreaming about (earning you book club points!). Once you create that room, keep it a secret until the big day. After all, you don't need your neopet sitting in their room, staring at their Yes Boy Ice Cream Poster and drooling over the jelly walls of their newest present when they could be out doing...
