Painting Your Pets: The Practical Benefits!

by qwerty_quirky

--------

Have you ever wondered what the point in painting your pets is? Why spend millions just so your pet stands out from the crowd or looks fashionable? Well, today you'll discover that when you paint a pet, there may be more practical benefits than you first thought!

So I hear you saying that you like your red Xweetok and blue Aisha just the way they are, but painting your could help you in all situations, from around the house to when you're exploring Neopia!

I bet you've been enjoying a drink or preparing a meal when all of a sudden you accidentally spill something. Or maybe you have a particularly clumsy neopet who seems to leave a trail of destruction and mess wherever they go. Well, never fear if you have a sponge neopet around the house! Your sponge Lupe or Aisha will have that mess cleaned up before you can say, "Meepits are taking over the world!" You'll save money as you'll never need to buy a sponge again! Just make sure your sponge neopet doesn't get dehydrated... Still not convinced about the benefits of painting your pet? Then read on!

Do you like to take your neopets camping in the Haunted Woods or hiking through the forests of Meridell? If you're ever out journeying through Neopia, then a fire neopet could come in very handy, unless you intend on travelling to Maraqua... You'll never have to worry about running out of matches and what could be better than a nice campfire to keep you warm? A fire neopet is also impossible to lose in the dark! You'll also be able to enjoy tasty roasted marshmallows wherever you go! Yummy!

An ice neopet can be just as handy as a fire one! They'll always stay cold, which is perfect on those hot summer days. You'll have no need for ice cubes with an ice neopet to keep all your drinks nice and cool. An ice pet will also come in very handy if you're coming back from a busy day of buying food because they'll keep everything crisp and fresh! Just make sure your icy neopet doesn't get too close to any volcanoes while in Tyrannia...

Some neopets have a fear of the dark. It's only natural; one of Sloth's evil minions could easily be lurking in the shadows... No wonder your baby neopet can't get to sleep if their room is pitch black! But it doesn't have to be a problem anymore! With a glowing neopet in their room, your scared young pet will be able to get to sleep in the comfort of a viridescent glow! However don't let them stay too close to a glowing neopet for extended periods of time...

Shopping in Neopia Central can be very tiring, especially when you have to walk around from shop to shop and then all the way home! But if you're lucky enough to have a faerie neopet by your side, they might just let you hop on their back and you could fly home! Imagine the fun you could have soaring through the clouds with your faerie Uni or Tonu, not to mention all the time you would save! Just remember that some faerie neopets, especially Ixi, don't enjoy carrying their owners around... You'll also be able to explore areas of high altitude like Faerieland! Even the Darigan Citadel would be reachable, but you wouldn't want to go there, would you?

Perhaps you or your pet enjoys swimming around the waters of Mystery Island or has always been fascinated by the ruins of Maraqua. If the deep blue sea interests either of you, then painting your pet Maraquan would be very useful! Your Maraquan pet could swim as much as it likes and you wouldn't have to worry about it getting into any trouble. You'll never need to wait for that boat or ferry to arrive when your Maraquan pet is nearby, and if you're lucky it might even find some treasure while exploring the ruins!

If you love playing Kacheek Seek with your neopet but think finding them is too easy, painting your pet camouflage will provide you with the challenge you need! Imagine trying to find your camouflage Wocky in a grassy field or your camouflage Tuskaninny in Kiko Lake! A single game could give you with hours of entertainment! Or perhaps you want your pet to blend in for more sinister purposes... A camouflage Ruki would blend in perfectly in thieving districts of Sakhmet and Qasala. Invisible pets are just as useful when it comes to this purpose!

I bet you have a neopet that is extremely lazy and you can't take them anywhere without them wanting to have a nap in bed. Maybe your neopets are constantly asking for toys. Or perhaps you sometimes get tired and feel like you just want to rest your head on a nice squishy pillow. If either of these apply to you, then a plushie pet is just what you need! They'll be more than happy to serve as your pillow and smaller neopets can even use them as a bed! If you paint one of your pets plushie, then you'll never have to buy another plushie toy for your other pets again. They'll also fulfill all your hugging and squishing needs with pleasure!

Even rainbow neopets can provide you with many benefits. It's the perfect colour to wake up a lazy neopet! Even if you're feeling a little down, a rainbow pet is perfect to brighten up your day! Who couldn't smile after seeing all those cheerful colours?

Robot pets will never tire and food pets could even provide a snack in dire circumstances; the benefits of some painted pets go on and on! No matter what you do in Neopia, a painted pet could make things easier for you and your fellow pets.

So next time you see a painted neopet, don't see it as a fashion statement or a sign of its owner's wealth; they're just making their owner's everyday life easier!
